A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A FORMER SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASE-
MENT LOCATED EAST OF HARBOR BOULEVARD, NORTH
OF ORANGEWOOD AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate cer-
tain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant
to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law;
and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of May, 1982, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically describe is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not re-
served and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain
utility easement, more specifically described as follows:
That certain easement as granted to the Southern
California Edison Company for either or both pole lines,
conduits and incidental purposes in and over that real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as set forth in an instru-
ment recorded in Book 4479, page 380, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County.
Being a strip of land 6 feet in width lying within the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of the North-
east quarter of Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M, the southerly line of said strip de-
scribed as follows:

Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Harbor
Boulevard, as now established, distant 400 feet
northerly thereon from the northerly line of orange-
wood Avenue, as now established; thence Easterly a
distance of 70 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of May, 1982.
