A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A
TM PUBLIC HEARING TO DE'T'ERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF
A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that certain premises within the City may be maintained
contrary to the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that a
public hearing be held to ascertain whether or not a public
nuisance exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby declares its intent to hold a public hearing to ascertain
whether certain premises situated in the City of Anaheim, State
of California, known and designated as 632 South Wilde Place,
in said City, constitute a public nuisance subject to abatement
by the City;
That the following conditions maintained on said
property may exist contrary to the provisions of Section 6.44.010,
subsections (as listed below), of the Anaheim Municipal Code:
6.44.070.0111 - Maintenance of Property - buildings which are
abandoned, boarded up, partially destroyed,
or left unreasonably in a state of partial
construction
6.44.070.0123 - Maintenance of premises in such condition as
to be detrimental to the public health,
safety or general welfare or in such manner
as to constitute a public nuisance as defined
by Civil Code Section 3480.
6.44.070.0125 - Maintenance of premises so out of harmony or
conformity with the maintenance standards of
adjacent properties as to cause substantial
diminuation of the enjoyment, use, or
property values of such adjacent properties.
6.44.070.0127 - Any building, driveway or structure which has
any of the following conditions or defects to
a significant degree:
viii - whenever the building or structure
has been so damaged by fire, wind, earthquake,
or flood, or has become so dilapidated or
deteriorated as to become an attractive

nuisance to children who might play therein
to their danger, or as to afford a harbor for
vagrants, criminals or immoral persons, or as
to enable persons to resort thereto for the
purpose of committing nuisance or unlawful or
immoral acts.
xii - whenever any building or structure, by
reason of obsolescence, dilapidated condition,
deterioration, damage, electric wiring, gas
connections, heating apparatus, or other
cause, is in such condition as to be a fire
hazard and is so situated as to endanger the
life or other buildings or property in the
vicinity or provide a ready fuel supply to
augment the spread and intensity of fire arising
from any cause.
That abatement by the following method has been suggested:
Secure contractor to complete construction
of R -1 residence
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause
the owner of said premises to be served with appropriate notice
in the manner prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 8th day of June, 1982.
