A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER
OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM POLICE
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, on December l6, 1980, the City C~uncil approved Resolution
No. 80R-S55 adopting a Memorandum of Understan~ing between the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association; an~
WHEREAS, the PoI ice Department Management has consulted with staff
officials of the Anaheim PoI ice Association to discuss the K-9 program;
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, a Letter of Understanding dated
August 26, 1981 between the parties, which de1~neates the details of
the operation of the K-9 program operation, has been prepared and
signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interests of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dat~d August 26, 1981
between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association is
hereby approved and adopted.
