A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
~- AND ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AND ALLEY
AND FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
o.f the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use the .f_ollowing described
streets and alley, to wit:
1. A portion of Chartres Street from Clementine Street
to Lemon Street.
2. A portion o:F Clementine Street from Chartres Street
to the northerly line of Lincoln Avenue (realigned).
3. A portion of Chartres Street (abutting the north
line of .Lincoln Avenue (realigned) extending from
Lemon Street to a point approximately 229 feet east-
erly of Lemon Street.
4. A portion of that public alley located west of Lemon
Street, east of Clementine Street, extending from
Chartres Street to Lincoln Avenue (realigned).
as said streets and alley are shown on a map or plan on file in
the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under-
taken subject to the following reservations and exceptions in
favor of the following persons or parties:
1. Reserving
easements
Street.
2. Reserving
easements
both Lemon
unto the City of Anaheim public utilities
across the west thirty feet of Clementine
unto the Southern California Gas Company
five feet in width for gas line purposes in
z Street and Chartres Street.

BE IT FURTHER .RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the
Civic Center, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California, on:
July 21, 1981
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City-Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of July, 1981.
