A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN EASEMENTS FOR
SLOPE PURPOSES ADJOINING FAIRMONT BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements pur-
suant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of August, 1981, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEP.EAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities; and
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of certain
easements for slope purposes more specifically described as
follows:
Abandonment of a portion of Parcel Four, all of Parcels Five
and Six as easements for excavation, grading, construction
and installation of a slope area in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California as recorded in Book
11723, pages 1151-1155 records of the County Recorder of
said Orange County described as follows:
Parcel Four
Beginning at Point "A" described in Parcel One as recorded in
said Book 11723, pages 1151-1155; thence Iv 18° 38' 02" W,
-~- 67.00 feet; thence S 66° 36' 11" E, 120.18 feet; thence S 60°
00' 00" E, 520.00 feet; thence N 77° 36' 19" W, 96.99 feet;
thence N 65° 52' 43" W, 271.44 feet to a point in a curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1,154 feet, a
radial line bearing S 24° 07` 17" W passes through said point;
thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central angle
of 11° 16' 16" an arc distance of 227.01 feet to the point of
beginning.

That portion of the above described said Parcel Four to be
abandoned is described as follows:
Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of Lot 51, Tract
No. 8560, as recorded in Book 412, pages 32 through 35,
Official Records of said Orange County;
Thence, iV 33° 46' 07" E, 57.04'; thence, S 60° 53'
10" E, 389.30'; thence, N 78° 36' 17" W, 79.62';
thence, N 66° 45' S3" W, 302.42'
to the beginning of a curve concave Northeasterly and
having a radius of 1154.0 feet, a radial line bearing
N 23° 14' 07" E passes through said point.
Thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 0° 51' 38" an arc distance of 17.33', to the point
of beginning, a radial line bearing N 24° 05' 45" E passes
through said point.
Parcel Five
Beginning at Point "C" as described in said Book 11723,
pages 1151-1155; thence Northwesterly along a curve concave
Northeasterly and having a radius of 954.00 feet through
a central angle of 2° 34' S7" an arc distance of 43.00
feet; thence N 46° 59' 12" W, 576.00 feet to a point in a
curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 1,246
feet, a radial line bearing N 43° 00' 48" E passes through
said point; thence Northwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 5° 23' 47" an arc distance of 117.35
feet to a point, a radial line bearing N 37° 37' O1" E
passes through said point; thence N 38° OS' 48" W, 97.73
feet; thence S 49° 58' 00" E, 300.00 feet; thence S 44° 23'
12" E, 533.68 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel Six
Beginning at said Point "C" described above; thence S 78° 08'
22" E, 345.10 feet; thence S 45° 03' 02" E, 113.00 feet;
thence S 41° 20' 02" E, 33.82 feet; thence S 40° 11' S8" W,
39.14 feet; thence N 76° 18' 14" W, 22.60 feet to the begin-
ning of a curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of
954 feet, a radial line bearing S 13° 41' 46" W passes
through said point; thence Northwesterly along said curve
through a central angle at 26° 44' 05" an arc distance of
445.14 feet to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FUP~THER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
