A RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN APPLICATION TO THE.
URBAN MASS TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION
(UMTA) FOR GRANT FUNDS- TO BE USED FOR A
COMMUNITY RIDE INFORMATION SERVICE PROGRAM
(CRIB). AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR
HIS DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE AND
FILE SAID APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to submit an application to the Urban Mass Trans-
portation Adminis ration (UNiTA)_ for grant funds in an amount
not to exceed $30,000 to be used for a Community Ride
Lnformation Service Program (CRIB); and
WHEREAS, said funds would be used to hire a
consultant to prepare a map for distribution by the City`s
Visitor and Convention Bureau.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the. City of Anaheim that the application to the Urban
Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA) for grant funds for
a Community Ride Information Service Program (CRIB) be, and
the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager, or
his designated representative be, and he is r.ereby authorized
to execute and file said application and all other necessary
documents in connection therewith.
