A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 3182.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by GERARD F. WARDE
AND JOYCE M. WARDE, owners, was received, a public hearing before
the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was held upon due
and proper notice, a result of which Variance No. 3182 was denied
covering the following described property:
The South 210.00 feet of the East 186.02 feet of the
West 10.27 acres of the Southeast quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim,
as shown on a map recorded in book 51, page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, described as follows: Beginning at a point
on the South line of said Southeast quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, 487.2 feet West of the Southeast cor-
ner of said Southeast quarter of the Southwest quar-
ter; thence West along the South line of said South-
east quarter of the Southwest quarter, 835 feet to
the Southwest corner of said Southeast quarter of
the Southwest quarter, said point being 1329.3 feet
East of the Southwest corner of said Section 20;
thence North along the West line of the Southeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of .said Section, 1214
feet to the South line of the tract of land conveyed
to the Southern Pacific Railroad Company by deed re-
corded September 19, 1899, in book 45, page 149 of
Deeds; thence East along said South right of way line
835 feet; thence South 1214.75 feet to the point of
beginning; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Commission action at a public hearing
noticed and held as prescribed by law and, as a result thereof, the
City Council does hereby make the following findings:
1. That there are no special circumstances applicable to the
property which do not apply to other property in the same vicinity
and zone .
2. That strict application of the zoning code does not de-
prive the property of privileges enjoyed by other property in the
same vicinity and zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that said Variance be, and the same is hereby, denied.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the time within which judicial
review of the herein decision must be sought is governed by Section
1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th da~of March, 1981.
