A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Are, -helm did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 64- 6 -36 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 6T EH Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its st,ff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt resolution
containing report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendtion that the pro
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed s hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of s:id resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommend, -tion of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 4th day
of November 1964 as the time, and the City Council
Ch tubers in t ee City HT1 of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the irucorportion thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner nd form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed foe said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
th.t the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, mended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That portion of Vineyard Lot E -6 of Anaheim, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630,
Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly
line of Broadway Street (80.00 feet wide) and the
southwesterly line of the land conveyed to C. Silbernagel
by deed recorded February 3, 1906, in Book 124, page
109, Deeds of said Orange County; thence northwesterly
158.44 feet along said southwesterly line to the south-
westerly line of the 14.00 foot alley conveyed to the
City of Anaheim, by deed recorded June 15, 1920, in
Book 363, page 52, Deeds of said Orange County;
thence northeasterly 50.00 feet along last said
southwesterly line; thence southeasterly 158.44 feet
parallel with said southwesterly line of Silbernagel
to said northwesterly line of Broadway; thence
southwesterly 50.00 feet along said northwesterly
line to the point of beginning;
EXCEPT the portion thereof, if any, which is not
included within the land described as Parcel 7 in
the deed to Rhea A. Sperling et al., recorded
January 20, 1958, in Book 4169, page 448, Official
Records of said Orange County;
ALSO EXCEPT the portion thereof, if any, which is
included within the land described in the deed to
Myrl Crum recorded January 26, 1954, in Book 2657,
page 73, Official Records of said Orange County.
be excluded from R -2, TWO- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and incorpo-
rated in C -0, COMMERCIAL OFFICE ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land six feet
in width along the northerly property line of
subject property, for alley widening purposes,
said dedication to be made within a period of
180 days from date hereof or such further time
as the City Council may grant.
2. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and specifi-
cations on file with the City of Anaheim, marked
"Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and 3."
3. That the completion of these reclassification
proceedings is contingent upon the granting of
Variance No. 1660.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
