A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE COMPROMISE OF
CERTAIN EMINENT DOMAIN LITIGATION.
WHEREAS, heretofore, by its resolution duly adopted
and passed on the 21st day of April, 1964, the City of Anaheim
authorized and directed the initiation of condemnation pro-
ceedings which resulted in the commencement of Orange County
Superior Court Case No. 123352, being entitled "City of
Anaheim vs. Clarice C. Keefe, et al. and
WHEREAS, Defendants Jerome C. DeHetre and Mina T.
DeHetre, husband and wife, have offered to accept the same
figure per acre as has heretofore been used in settlement
with all other defendants in said action, and, in connection
therewith, have tendered their grant deed in favor of the City
of Anaheim covering their property involved in said action;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the sum of
$1,984.50 is fair and reasonable compensation for the 0.0945
acres involved, and that it is in the best interests of the
City to accept said offer of compromise.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Director of Finance be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to deliver to the City
Attorney s Office the sum of $1,984.50, payable to Jerome C.
DeHetre and Mina T. DeHetre to be delivered to said Jerome C.
DeHetre when the City Attorney holds a Grant Deed in favor of
the City of Anaheim conveying Parcel 43 of said condemnation
action.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that
it accept and it does hereby accept said deed to Parcel 43 to
which reference has been made herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of December, 1964.
