A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No 64 -65 -27 to consider ::n amendment to
Title 18 ofina eim ,un cipa Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence ,::nd reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 27th day
of October 1964 as the time, and the City Council

for public he ring upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, h- reinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situ ted and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones herein, =_fter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented :t
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
th t the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and tht the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, Stte of California, to wit:

That portion of lots 4 and 5 of the Stockwell Subdivision,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, as per map recorded in book 6 page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of
said county, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Raymond
Avenue, South 241.77 feet from the northeast corner
of said lot 4; thence North 88 33' 00" West 629.91
feet to an iron axle; thence South 75 12' 00" West
27.00 feet to an iron axle; thence South 89 58' 00"
West 560.00 feet to the easterly line of the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railway's 100 -foot right of way;
thence southerly 364.00 feet along said easterly line
to a line parallel with and northerly 66.00 feet from
the South line of said lot 5; thence South 89 53' 00"
East 1153.66 feet along said parallel line to said center
line of Raymond Avenue; thence North 352.26 feet along
said center line to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT that portion thereof lying easterly of the westerly
line of the land described in the deed to the Orange
County Flood Control District recorded June 9, 1960, in
book 5279 page 368, of Official Records of said Orange
County.
be excluded from M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, and incorporated
in R -3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That a final tract map of subject property, approved
by the City Council, shall be recorded in the Office
of the Orange County Recorder.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building
permit is issued.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
cordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets, prior to final .building inspection.
4. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file
with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits Nos. 1
through 6; provided, however, that garages ten (10)
feet in width shall be provided; that the elevation
plans shall be subject to the approval of the
Development Review Board; and that the exterior
materials shall be stucco and shake roofs, as stipu-
lated by the petitioner.
5. That the private easement across the Flood Control
Channel connecting with Balsam Avenue shall be dedi-
cated to the City of Anaheim.
6. That conditions Nos. 1 and 5 above mentioned shall
be complied with within a period of 180 days from
date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, ca::i?d
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submIt. to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found ard deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
