A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 64 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 2nd day
of March 19 65 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1:
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed
in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California, a copy of which is shown in Book 3,
Page 163 et seq., entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," in
the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the land conveyed to
Fred 0. Thompson and Ethel Thompson, by deed recorded
December 2, 1944 in Book 1286, Page 419 of Official Records,
said point being on the center line of Placentia Avenue
North 0 07' 30 East 213.00 feet from the intersection
of said center line with the center line of East Center
Street; running thence North 0 07' 30" East 191.26 feet
along said center line to the true point of beginning;
thence South 77 52' 20" West 377.80 feet to a point in
the West line of said parcel, North 12 08' West 166.63
feet from the Southwest corner of said parcel; thence
North 12 08' West 81.63 feet to the Northwest corner of
said parcel; thence North 74 52' 30" East 401.65 feet
to the Northeast corner of said parcel; thence South
0 07' 30" West 105.23 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the portion thereof included in public highway
along the East side, as said highway appeared on
November 18, 1930.
PARCEL 2:
Lot No. 11 of Tract No. 255, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 14, Page 25 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California.
(Note: Parcel 2 above described is designated as Parcel
3 in Conditional Use Permit No. 669, and on the plans
and specifications.)
be excluded from R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE and R -1, ONE- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and incorporated in the following zones,
upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
That Parcel 1 shall be changed from R -A, AGRICULTURAL
ZONE and incorporated in C -1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE;
and
That Parcel 2 shall be changed from R -1, ONE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE and incorporated in P -1, AUTOMOBILE
PARKING ZONE.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following
conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot along
State College Boulevard, for street lighting purposes.

8. That conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 4 above mentioned
shall be complied with within a period of 180 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the
City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of March, 1965.
ATTEST:
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15 per front foot
along State College Boulevard and Coffman Street,
for tree planting purposes.
3. That all vehicular access rights to Coffman Street
shall be dedicated to the City of Anaheim.
4. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibits
Nos. 1 and 2.
5. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view from abutting streets.
6. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the north, west and south property lines of
Parcel 2 hereinbefore described to insure that no
commercial traffic will be utilizing the residential
street; and that said wall shall be constructed
prior to the adoption of an ordinance reclassifying
subject property.
7. That the completion of these reclassification
proceedings is contingent upon the granting of
Conditional Use Permit No. 669.
