A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BCRJNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 64 -65 -79 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones mentioned and
described in said proceedings, and at said hearing did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein and from
its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that an amend-
ment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be adopted by
the City Council and that a certain zone or zones be changed
as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 23rd day of
February, 1965 as the time, and the City Council Chambers in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone or zones in which it is now situated
and the incorporation thereof in the zone or zones set forth in
said proposed amendment, and did give notice thereof in the
manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the follow-
ing described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1:
The Southerly 28 feet of that portion of "Vineyard Lot
G -5 as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 4,
pages 629 and 630, Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of South Palm
Street, as now established 6 feet Southerly of the North-
erly line of said Lot G -5, and 12.5 feet Easterly of the
Northwest corner of said Lot G -5; thence Easterly and paral-
lel with the Northerly line of said Lot G -5; 9 feet; thence
Northerly and parallel with said Easterly line of South
Palm Avenue, 2 feet; thence Easterly and parallel with
the Northerly line of said Lot G -5, 103 feet; thence
Southerly and parallel with the Easterly line of said South
Palm Avenue, 6 feet; thence Easterly parallel with the
Northerly line of said Lot G -5, 4.96 feet, more or less,
to a point in the Northwesterly prolongation of the center
line, if extended, of that certain 15 foot alley as shown
in Block "D" on the map of Tract No. 365, according to
the map thereof, recorded in book 15, page 14, Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence Southerly
along the center line of said alley and parallel with said
Easterly line of said South Palm Avenue, 52 feet; thence
Westerly parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot G -5,
129.46 feet, more or less, to said Easterly line of said
South Palm Avenue, as now established, thence Northerly
along said Easterly line of South Palm Avenue 56 feet to
the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at a point in the West line of Vineyard Lot
G5, as said Lot is shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California 62.00 feet Southerly from the Northwest corner
of said Vineyard Lot G5; thence at right angles Easterly
and parallel with the North boundary of said Vineyard
Lot G5 a distance of 129.46 feet; thence at right angles
Southerly and parallel with the said west line of said
Vineyard Lot G5, a distance of 50.00 feet; thence at right
angles Westerly and parallel with the North boundary line
of said Vineyard Lot G5, a distance of 129.46 feet to said
West line; thence Northerly along said West line 50.00 feet
to the point of beginning; excepting therefrom the West
12.50 feet as described in deeds to the City of Anaheim,
recorded January 23, 1911 in Book 183, page 286 of Deeds,
and March 1, 1924 in Book 512, page 254 of Deeds, Records
of Orange County, California
be excluded from R -2, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and in-
corporated in C -0, COMMERCIAL OFFICE ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 45 feet in width, from
the center line of the street, along Harbor Boulevard,
for street widening purposes.
2. That the damaged and /or hazardous sidewalks along Har-
bor Boulevard shall be repaired as required by the
City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer.

6. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans and specifications on file
with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1.
7. That the completion of these reclassification pro-
ceedings is contingent upon the approval of Area
Development Plan No. 16.
8. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5 above mentioned
shall be complied with within a period of 180 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of February, 1965.

3. That all accessways to Harbor Boulevard, for use prior
to acceptance of dedication and improvement of the
alley along the easterly boundary of subject property,
shall be approved by the City Engineer.
4. That the owners of subject property shall deed to
the City of Anaheim a strip of land ten feet in width
along the east property line, as shown on Exhibit
No. 1 on file with the City, for alley purposes.
5. That the owners of subject property shall submit to
the City of Anaheim an irrevocable offer of dedication
of all vehicular access rights to Harbor Boulevard,
to be accepted at such time as the alley along the
easterly boundary of subject property is completed
and extended to Santa Ana Street, and upon acceptance
of said access rights to Harbor Boulevard by the City,
the existing driveway approaches to Harbor Boulevard
shall be removed.
