A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reel,'ssification Proceed-
ings No. 64 -65 -72
to consider -:n amendment to
Title 18 o t ha eim nicipa Code ref, -ting to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and t said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed .s hereinafter set forth; and.
WHEREAS, upon receipt of s= resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 2nd day
of Februar 19 65 as the time, and the City Council
Chain ers in t e Cityl of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the imcorportion thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for` said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
Those parcels of land being a portion of the Southwest
quarter of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
The Northerly 69.00 feet of the Southerly 332.00 feet
of the Westerly 147.00 feet of the Southwest quarter
of said Section 8.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 40.00 feet as measured
at right angles from the center line of Brookhurst Street.
PARCEL TWO:
The Northerly 69,00 feet of the Southerly 263.00 feet
of the Westerly 165.00 feet of the Southwest quarter
of said Section 8.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 40.00 feet as measured
at right angles from the center line of said Brookhurst
Street.
PARCEL THREE:
The Southerly 194.00 feet of the Westerly 165.00 feet
of the Southwest quarter of said Section 8.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 40.00 feet thereof as
measured at right angles to the center line of Brook
hurst Street.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 40.00 feet as
measured at right angles from the center line of
Lincoln Avenue.
PARCEL FOUR:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 9 of Tract
No. 1851, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 56,
pages 25 and 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; thence South 89 31' East
107 feet along the South line of said Lot 9 to the
Southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence leaving the
South line of said Lot 9 South 0 16' 10" East
5.86 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve con-
cave Westerly and having a radius of 50.00 feet;
thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 41 24' 35' an arc distance of 36.14 feet
to a point, said point being the beginning of a reverse
curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of
50.00 feet, a radial line bearing North 48 51' 35"
West passes throughthe point of beginning of said
reverse curve; thence Southwesterly, Southerly and
Easterly along said reverse curve through a central
angle of 131 24' 35" an arc distance of 114.68 feet

to a point in a line parallel with and 25 feet Southerly
as measured at right angles from the center line of
Lindsay Road, as shown on the Map of said Tract No. 1851;
thence South 89 31' East along the last mentioned
parallel line a distance of 49.00 feet; thence South-
easterly to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 40.00 feet Northerly as measured at right angles
from the center line of Lincoln Avenue, said point of
intersection being distant South 89 31' East 328.00
feet from the West line of the Southwest quarter of
Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.;
thence North 89 31' West 163.00 feet along the last
mentioned parallel line to an intersection with the
East line of the West 165.00 feet of the Southwest quarter
of said Section 8; thence Northerly along a portion of
the East line of the West 165.00 feet of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 8, a distance of 223.00 feet;
thence North 89 31' West a distance of 18.00 feet;
thence North 0 16' 10" West a distance of 69.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
PARCEL FIVE:
Commencing at the center line intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and Lindsay Street as said intersection is shown
on a Map of Tract No. 1851, recorded in Book 56, pages
25 and 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence North 0 16' 10" West along the
center line of said Lindsay Street to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 40.00 feet Northerly as
measured at right angles from the center line of said
Lincoln Avenue; thence North 89 31' West along said
parallel line to an intersection with the East line
of the West 328.00 feet of the Southwest quarter of
Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
said point of intersection being the true point of
beginning of the parcel of land hereinafter described;
thence Northerly along a portion of the East line of the
West 328.00 feet of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 8 a distance of 170.00 feet to an intersection
with the Southerly right of way line of Lindsay Road,
50 feet wide, as shown on the Map of said Tract No.
1851; thence South 89 31' East along a portion of
the Southerly line of said Lindsay Road, a distance
of 82.23 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 18 feet;
thence Easterly and Southerly along said curve through
a central angle of 89 14' 50" an arc distance of
28.04 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 25 feet Westerly as measured at right angles from
the center line of Lindsay Street, as shown on a Map
of said Tract No. 1851; thence South 0 16' 10" East
along the last mentioned parallel line a distance of
127.49 feet, more or less, to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius
of 25 feet; thence Southerly and Westerly along said
curve through a central angle of 90 41' 04" an arc
distance of 39.57 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 40.00 feet Northerly as measured at

intersection with a line parallel with and 25 feet
Easterly as measured at right angles from the
center line of Lindsay Street; thence South 0 16' 10"
East along said parallel line a distance of 127.01
feet to the beginning of a curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 28 feet; thence Southerly and
Easterly along said curve through a central angle
of 90 41' 04 an arc distance of 43.61 feet to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 40.00 feet
Northerly as measured at right angles from the center
line of Lincoln Avenue; thence South 89 31' East
along said parallel line a distance of 169.50 feet to
an intersection with the Southerly prolongation of
the East line `of said Tract No. 1851; thence
North 0 16' West along said prolongation of the
East line of said Tract 1851 a distance of 170 feet
to the point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of February, 1965.
