A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
An -heim did hold public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 64 -65 -69 to consider :'n amendment to
Title 18 of Cil Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and t said he ring did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following sid
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, nd a recommendation that the pro
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council .nd that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of s id resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings =nd recommendation of the City
P1nning Commission the City Council did fix the 2nd day
of Februar 19 65 as the time, and the City Council
Chan ers in t e City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municip I Code, nd the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones herein ,=fter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed foi? said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing -'nd did giv all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
th.t the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and th -rt the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit
64 -65 -69
PARCEL 1:
The North 92 feet of the South 529 feet of the East
half of the East half of the Southeast quarter of
the Southeast quarter and the North 92 feet of the
South 529 feet of the East 8 feet of the West half
of the East half of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 14, in Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in
the City of Anaheim.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 40 feet thereof granted
to the State of California.
PARCEL 2:
The North 95 feet of the South 624 feet of the East
one -half of the East one -half of the Southeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter and the North 95 feet of
the South 624 feet of the East 8.00 feet of the West
one -half of the East one -half of the Southeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 14, in Township
4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 11,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
be excluded from C GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE and R -A, AGRICUL-
TURAL ZONE, and incorporated in C -3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall pay
to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front
foot, for the northerly 95 feet along Beach Boulevard,
for street lighting purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15c per front foot
along Beach Boulevard, for tree planting purposes.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets, prior to final building
inspection.
4. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the
Fire Department, said fire hydrants to be installed
prior to final building inspection.
5. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked
Nos. 1 and 2."
6. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view from abutting streets.
7. That Conditions Nos. 1 and 2 above mentioned shall
be complied with within a period of 180 days from
date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, ard
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and subidt to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of thE Av.aheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
