A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner ss .,f said property ha ve offered
to sell and co vey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOWT THEREFORE„ :0- IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei that the offer of HOWARD G. THOMPSON and
PHOEBE M. THOMPSON husband and wife,

property situated in the City of Anahei County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and yrs particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 23.00 feet of the following described
parcel of land:
That portion of Lot 11 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a
Map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of
which is shown in Book 3, pages 163 et seq., entitled "Los
Angeles County Maps," records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of State College
Boulevard (formerly Placentia Avenue, 60 feet in width),
distant thereon North 0 25' 45" East 179.22 feet from its
intersection with the Northerly line of Lincoln Avenue (formerly
Anaheim -Olive Road), as described in the deed to the State of
California, recorded April 12, 1937 in Book 883, page 89 of
Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, and running thence Westerly at right angles,
147.42 feet to the West line of the land described in the
deed to Agnes Loretta Grindall, a married woman, by deed
recorded April 14, 1955 in Book 3030, page 467 of Official
Records; thence South 0 25' 45" West, along said West line,
94.22 feet to the Southwest corner of said land; thence
Easterly 147.22 feet to the Southeast corner of said land
conveyed to Grindall; thence North 0 25' 45" East 94.22
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and thvt the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01,00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th d of July 1965
