A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING THE PRECISE ALIGNMENT OF
LA PALMA AVENUE BETWEEN JEFFERSON STREET AND
FEE ANA STREET AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A" ON
FILE WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing on June 7, 1965 to consider
the adoption of a Precise Alignment of La Palma Avenue easterly
from its present terminus at Jefferson Street to Fee Ana Street,
as shown on Exhibit "A" duly approved by said Planning Commission
and as approved in General Plan Amendment No. 38, Exhibit No. 1,
Alternate "A approved by the City Council on October 20, 1964,
and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of
its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hear-
ing, and a recommendation that said Precise Alignment and exten-
sion of La Palma Avenue, as shown on said Exhibit "A be adopted
by the City Council, reaffirming the adoption of General Plan
Amendment No. 38, Exhibit No. 1, Alternate "A and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 29th day of
June, 1965 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall
of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said Precise Alignment of La Palma Avenue easterly from its
present terminus at Jefferson Street to Fee Ana Street, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the Precise Alignment of La Palma Avenue northeasterly from its
present terminus at Jefferson Street to Fee Ana Street, in the
City of Anaheim, as shown and described on Exhibit "A duly
approved by the City Planning Commission and on file with the
City of Anaheim, Department of Development Services, should be
adopted, reaffirming the adoption of General Plan Amendment
No. 38, Exhibit No. 1, Alternate "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Precise Alignment of La Palma Avenue
northeasterly from its present terminus at Jefferson Street to
Fee Ana Street, in the City of Anaheim, as shown and described
on said Exhibit "A" be, and the same is hereby adopted, and that
the adoption of General Plan Amendment No. 38, Exhibit No. 1,
Alternate "A be, and the same is hereby reaffirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby instructed, to amend the Circulation Element
of the Streets and Highways on the General Plan Map to conform
with said Precise Alignment of La Palma Avenue herein adopted.
