A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE
ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED
AS AMENDMENT NO. 319, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of April, 1991, the city
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 14.74 acres located north
and east of the northeast corner of Cerritos Avenue and Anaheim
Boulevard, having approximate frontages of 725 feet on the north
side of Cerritos Avenue and 490 feet on the east side of Anaheim
Boulevard and further described as 1440 South Anaheim Boulevard;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC91-48 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said
hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General Plan
designated as Amendment No. 319 be adopted by the City Council
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"General Commercial" in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 4th day of June,
1991, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic Center
as the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No.
319 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 319 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the
city should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 319 to the General Plan changing
the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to "General
AMEND #319
Commercial" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City
be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is here~, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan ~endment No. 319 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOL~ION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of June, 1991.
