A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of AMON E. ROBERTSON and
OLIVIA L ROBERTSON husband and wife
to sel to t e City of Anaheim t e following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 9 of the Orchard Park Tract,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 7, page 6 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 9 of said Orchard
Park Tract, said Southwest corner, for the purpose of this
description, being the intersection of the center line of
Harbor Boulevard with the Northerly line of Vermont Avenue;
thence Northerly along the center line of said Harbor
Boulevard, a distance of 58.50 feet; thence Easterly 45
feet, as measured at right angles to the center line of
Harbor Boulevard, to an intersection with a line parallel
with and distant 45 feet Easterly of the center line of
said Harbor Boulevard; thence Southerly along the last
mentioned parallel line a distance of 43.29 feet to the beg
ining of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly along said
curve through a central angle of 90 11' 50 an arc dis-
tance of 23.61 feet to an intersection with a line tangent
to the end of said curve and the Northerly line of said
Vermont Avenue; thence Westerly along the Northerly line
of said Vermont Avenue, a distance of 60.17 feet to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and th :t the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
