91-148 RESOLUTION NO. 91R-148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 91R-90 RELATING TO
THE DROUGHT SURCHARGE.
WHEREAS, the city Council has heretofore adopted Ordinance
No. 5204, adding Chapter 10.18 to Title 10 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code relating to water shortages, and Resolution No.
91R-90, adopting a Drought Surcharge to encourage conservation
efforts, purchase additional supplies of water, and pay for costs
to the Department associated with the water shortage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Resolution No.
91R-90 to revise the Drought Surcharge set forth therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council hereby amends Resolution No. 91R-
90 by adopting the revised Drought Surcharge set forth in the
tariff schedules which are attached to ~this Resolution as
Attachment "A" and are incorporated herein as though set forth in
full.
2. That the revised Drought Surcharge set forth in
Attachment "A" shall take effect May 31, 1991.
3. Capitalized terms used in this Resolution shall have
the meanings set forth in Section 10.18.020 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Anaheim this 21st day of

APPLICABILITY
Applicable to all consumers of water, both within and outside the city limits,
served by the City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department. The following rates
by class and by meter size shall replace all existing rates once the City Council
has declared a drought emergency and passed a resolution authorizing a drought
surcharge. These rates will remain in place until the City Council shall rescind
or replace them.
