A RESOLUTION OF THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITE' OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of porch, the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha ha offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of A naheim that the offer of N. STANLEY LELAND.
TRUSTE
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described re it
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly escr a as o ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 45 feet (as measured at right angles to
the centerline of Broadway) of that portion of Lot 8 of Helen and
Lynch's Subdivision of the West half of Section 16, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds, records
of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 512.17 feet East of the Southwest corner
of said Lot 8, said point being in the centerline of Broadway,
as conveyed to the County of Orange by deed recorded September
17, 1919 in Book 342, page 263 of Deeds, records of said Orange
County, said point also being the Southwest corner of the land
described in 'Parcel 1" in the deed to Wilbur Lee Brown et ux,
recorded January 7, 1946 in Book 1372, page 349 of Official
Records; thence West along the centerline of Broadway, 50 feet;
thence North to a point in the Southwesterly line of the Station
Grounds of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company as conveyed
by deed recorded July 17, 1893 in Book 67, page 309 of Deeds;
thence Southeasterly along said Southwesterly line to the North
westerly corner of the land described in ''Parcel 2" in said deed
to Wilbur Lee Brown et ux; thence Southerly, along the Westerly
line of said land described in "Parcel 2" to the Northeasterly
corner of the land described in ''Parcel 1" in said deed, to
Wilbur Lee Brown et ux; thence Westeriy and Southerly along the
Northerly and Westerly lines of said land described S y in "Parcel
1" to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of October 19 65
