A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 744
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a conditional use permit from
RENBAR, INC., 1422 North Central Park Avenue, Anaheim, California,
to permit the establishment of an industrial parking area within
330 feet of a proposed school site, on the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to wit:
That portion of Lot 48 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, as shown on a map of survey made by William
Hamel, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, a copy of which is
shown in Book 3, pages 162 -164, inclusive, entitled "Los
Angeles County Maps on file in the County Recorder's
Office of said Orange County, further described as
follows: Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot
29, Tract 2152, as per map recorded in Book 74, pages
46 -48, inclusive, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence Southerly along the Westerly line
of said Tract 2152 to the Southwesterly corner of Lot
28 of said Tract 2152; thence Westerly along the
Northerly line of said Tract 2152 to the Northwesterly
corner of Lot 23 of said Tract 2152, said point also
being a point in the Easterly line of the land described
in the deed to the Southern Pacific Railroad Company
recorded in Book 29, page 93, Deeds, Records of said
Orange Count; thence Northerly along said Easterly
line North 0 04' 52" West 217.80 feet; thence
North 89 13' 33" East 199.95 feet to the point of
beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of. Anaheim upon
said request on August 30. 19 65 notices of which said
public hearing were duly given as required by law and the pro-
visions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, inves-
tigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 1756 Series 1965 -66
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 744
and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City
Planning Commission in denying said conditional use
permit and did thereupon fix the 5th day of October
19 65 as the time and the Council Chamber in the ity Hal l

of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said Conditional Use Permit, and notices of such public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did ..receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 744 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis-
sion denying Conditional Use Permit No. 744 be, and the
same is hereby sustained and that the request of RENBAR,
INC. for a conditional use permit to establish an industrial
parking area within 330 feet of a proposed school site, be, and
the same is hereby denied..
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of October
