A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DUD
CONVEY= TO TIM CITt or ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of ppurch °sing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: ,An easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ham offered
to sell and convey the same o the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
$OW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of k ahei,' that the offer of STATER BROS, MARK 'S
a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described rea
property situated in the City of An heim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and ,•'re particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the [,Westerly 53 feet, as measured
at right angles from the center line of Magnolia
Avenue and the Northerly 45 feet, as measured at
right angles from the center line of Broadway of
that parcel of land described as follows:
The North 300 feet of Lot A in Tract No. 25, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 9, page 28 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, measured
from the center line of the street, 40 feet in width,
adjoining said lot on the North.
Except the West 230 feet of the North 200 feet thereof,
measured from the center lines of the streets adjoining
said lot on the North and on the West.
Also except the Last 55 feet thereof.
For the purpose of this description, the center line
of Magnolia Avenue is assumed to be the westerly line,
and the center line of Broadway is assumed to be the
northerly line of the above described parcel of land.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of October 19 65
