A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 65R -621 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEED-
INGS NO. 65- 66 -12.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
August 10, 1965, adopt Resolution No. 65R -621 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings No. 65 -66 -12 finding and determining that the
property and area therein described should be changed from R -A,
AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, subject to
certain conditions set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the owner of subject property has requested
that Conditions Nos. 4 and 6 of said resolution relating to
drainage be deleted, and has offered to accept drainage from
the culvert which crosses the Santa Ana Freeway and Manchester
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, said owner has further stated that he will
install the street improvements within the 180 -day time limi-
tation, which will eliminate the necessity of a bond being
posted to guarantee their installation; and
WHEREAS, after a thorough and careful consideration
of the matter the City Council finds that said resolution should
be amended as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of
zone and completing said reclassification proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 65R -621 in Reclassi-
fication Proceedings No. 65 -66 -12 be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That Condition No. 1 of said resolution be and the
same is hereby amended to read:
"1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along Manchester Avenue, including prepara-
tion of improvement plans and installation of all
improvements, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or
other appurtenant work shall be complied with as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance with
standard plans and specifications on file in the
Office of the City Engineer; and that said engineer-
ing requirements shall be complied with prior to
final fuilding inspection."
(b) That Condition No. 4 of said Resolution No. 65R -621
shall be and the same is hereby deleted.
(c) That Condition No. 6 of said resolution shall be
and the same is hereby amended to read:
"6. That the owner of subject property shall enter into
an agreement with the City of Anaheim to accept the

drainage from the culvert under the Santa Ana Free-
way, and to hold the City harmless from any damages.
This agreement shall be prepared by the City Attorney
and recorded prior to final building inspection."
(d) That Condition No. 8 of said resolution shall be and
the same is hereby amended to read:
"8. That Conditions Nos. 2, 3 and 5 above mentioned
shall be complied with within a period of 180 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 65R -621 be, and remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of September, 1965.
