AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 70R-295 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of Lot 22 in Block K of the Kraemer
Tract, in the County of Orange, as shown on a map
recorded in book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellaneous
Records, in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of
Blue Gum Street, 40.00 feet wide, as shown on the
map of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, recorded in book
5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, with
the Southeasterly line of an unnamed street, 20.00
feet wide, as shown on said last mentioned map, said
Southeasterly line being in the centerline of a
street now known as White Star Avenue (formerly La
Palma Avenue and Corona Street), 40.00 feet wide; thence
North 510 41' 58" East, along said centerline of White
Star Avenue, 238.24 feet to a point on the Southwesterly
line of Parcel 2 of the land described in the final Order
of Condemnation, a certified copy of which was recorded
in book 7697, page 466, Official Records of Orange
County; said Southwesterly line being a curve, concave
Southwesterly and having a radius of 570.00 feet, a
radial line to said point bears North 490 32' 55" East;
thence continuing North 51° 41' 58" West, along said

radius of 600.00 feet and which is concentric with said

concentric curve, from a tangent line which bears South

thence South 15° 52' 10" East, along said tangent line,
80.00 feet to a point of intersection with the South-
westerly prolongation of the centerline of La Palma
Avenue as said centerline is shown on a map of Tract No.
5070, recorded in book 252, pages 46 and 47, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County; thence North 740 07'
50" East, along said Southwesterly prolongation, 330.00
feet to the Northwesterly prolongation of the Northeasterly
line of the land described in the deed to Drayton Inc.,
recorded September 20, 1971 in book 9809, page 63, Offi-
cial Records of said Orange County, said point being the
true point of beginning of the boundary of the land herein
described; thence along said Northeasterly line South 150
52' 1011 East, 605.65 feet to a point on the Northerly line
of the land described in the deed to the State of Cali-
fornia recorded January 13, 1967 in book 8152, pages 1
through 4 of Official Records, said Northerly line being
a curve, concave Northerly and having a radius of 4679.00
feet, a radial line to said point bears South 12" 13' 03"
West; thence Easterly 434.27 feet along said curve through
a central angle of 50 19' 04" to a point, a radial line
to said point bears South 60 53' 59" West, said point
also being the intersection of said Northerly line of
the State of California land with the Westerly line of
the land conveyed to Jesse Coykendall et ux., by deed
recorded in book 109, page 480, Official Records, in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
thence North 50 37' 28" West, 804.88 feet along said
Westerly line to a point on the Southwesterly prolonga-
tion of the centerline of La Palma Avenue as said
centerline is shown on a map of said Tract No. 5070;
thence South 740 07' 50" West along said Southwesterly
prolongation of the centerline of La Palma Avenue,
535.21 feet terminating at the true point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within
Parcel 2 of the land described in the final Order of
Condemnation as recorded in book 7697, page 466, Offi-
cial Records.
now is County of Orange M-1, Light Industrial District, and that
it be changed to and incorporated in M-1, Light Industrial Zone,
upon the following conditions;
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along White Star Avenue, Blue Gum Street and La Palma
Avenue including preparation of improvement plans and installa-
tion of all improvements, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities or other appurten-
ant work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file
in the office of the City Engineer; and that street lighting

facilities along White Star Avenue, Blue Gum Street, and La
Palma Avenue shall be installed as required by the Director
of Public Utilities and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the office of the Director of
Public Works.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file with the office of the
Director of Public Works.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Depart-
ment.
4. That all air conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view.
5., That subject property shall be served by under-
ground utilities.
6. That the final parking plan shall _be,approved_by
the Development Services Department, and any landscaped areas
in the parking areas shall be protected with 6 -inch high concrete
curbs, and concrete wheel stops shall be protected for parking
spaces as required by the Development Services Department.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engi-
neer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
