AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 69R-588 determining that a change
or changes in tha zone or zones ereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lot 1 of that portion of Section 4, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on
a map recorded in book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, as shown on
a licensed surveyors map recorded in book 1, page
55 of Records of Survey, in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That the sidewalks and driveways shall be installed
along Euclid Street, as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and specifica-
tions on file in the office of the City Engineer.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the office of
the Director of Public Works.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the
Fire Department.

4. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the east and south adjacent to the existing
residential developments.
5. That any air -conditioning -facilities proposed shall be
properly shielded from view, and the sound shall be
buffered from adjacent residential homes.
6. That any parking area lighting shall be lighted with
down -lighting a maximum 6 -feet in height and shall
be directed away from the property lines to protect
the residential integrity of the area.
7. Subject development shall be served by underground
utilities.
8. That Conditions Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, above
mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspection:'
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of August , 19 73 .
