AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 72R-374 and 6591 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Tract No. 4001, as shown in Book 325, Pages 12 through
23 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the Recorder
of Orange County, California.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15r per front foot along Orangewood
Avenue and West Street for tree planting purposes.
2. That final specific plans be submitted to the
Development Services Department and be approved by the Planning
Commission and City Council.
3. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the appropriate park and recreation in -lieu
fees as determined to be appropriate by the City Council, said
fees to be paid at the time the permit is issued.

4. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans filed with the office of the
Director of Public Works.
5. That a six --foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the north and east property line.
6. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department.
7. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view and the sound buffered from adjacent
properties. -
8. That Conditions Nos. 4, 5, 6 and 7, above mentioned,
shall be complied with prior to final building and zoning
inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of, this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published'and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of July , 1973 .
