A RESOLUTION OF THE ~l'l'~ COL~CIL OF ~{E CITY OF
ANA~;iM AM~gDING P~RSOA~gEL RULE 16, VACATION,
AS SAT FORTH IN RESOLUTION NO. 88R-166 AS AMenDED
~I~REAS, on April 26, 1988, the City Council adopted Resolution
No. 88R-166 adopting Personnel Rules covering management, confidential and
non-represented part-time employees; and
WHEREAS, said Personnel Rule 16, Vacation, was amended by
~solution 90R-49 on F~hruary 13, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the H~an Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated March 12, 1991, that Personnel Rule 16, Vacation, be further
amended in the manner hereinafter set forth; and
~REAS, the City Council of the city of Anaheim does find that
such amendments are in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Sections 16.51, 16.52, 16.53, 16.54, 16.55 and 16.81 of
Personnel Rule 16 as set forth in Resolution No. 88R-166, as amer~ed, be,
and the same are hareby, further amended to read as follows:
"16.51 For employees accruing vacation at the rate of one hundred
six (106) hours for every twenty-six (26) co~lete biweekly
pay periods, the maximum amount of vacation that may be
accur~lated shall be two hundred twelve (212) hours.
16.52 For employees accruing vacation at the rate of one hundred
thirty (130) hours for every twenty-six (26) c~lete
biweekly pay periods, the maximum amount of vacation that
may be accumulated shall be two hundred sixty (260) hours.
16.53 For employees accruing vacation at the rate of one hundred
fifty-six (156) hours for every twenty-six (26) c~,~lete
biweekly pay periods, the maximum amount of vacation that
may be accumulated shall be three hundred twelve (312)
hours.
16.54 For employees accruing vacation at the rate of one hundred
eighty-two (182) hours for every twenty-six (26) cc~plete
biweekly pay periods, the maximu~ amount of vacation that
may be accumulated shall be three hundred sixty-four (364)
hours.
16.55 For employees accruing vacation at the rate of two hundred
eight (208) hours for every twenty-six (26) cu~lete
biweekly pay periods, the maximum amount of vacation that
may be accumulated shall be four hundred sixteen (416)
hours."
"16.81 For employees with an average work week of forty (40) hours,
a minimum of eighty (80) hours of vacation must have been
used during the previous payroll year. A maximum of eight
(80) hours may be paid in cash."
BE IT FUR~H~ RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Resolution
No. 88R-166, as amended shall r~ain in full force and effect.
TPIE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the city Council
of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of March, 1991.
