AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEAL-
ING SECTION 1.04.390 OF TITLE 1, CHAPTER
1.04 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADD-
ING A NEW SECTION IN ITS PLACE AND STEAD
RELATING TO BONDS FOR CITY OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1_
That Section 1.04.390 of Title 1, Chapter 1.04 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2.
That new Section 1.04.390 is hereby added to Title 1,
Chapter 1.04 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to read as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.390 BONDS REQUIRED OF CITY
OFFICERS AND E14PLOYEES
.010 Before entering upon the
duties of their respective offices, the Finance
Director and the City Treasurer of the City of
Anaheim shall execute faithful performance bonds
to the City in amounts which may, from time to
time, be set by the City Council.
.020 The following employees
shall be bonded under a public employees' faithful
performance blanket bond in amounts which may, from
time to time, be set by the City Council:
City Manager/Acting City Manager
City Attorney
City Clerk
Assistant City Manager
Director of Public Works
Chief of Police
City Engineer
Box Office Manager
Collection Officer
Accounting Officer
Director, Stadium/Convention Center/Golf
Purchasing Agent.

.030 All of the employees not
specifically set forth above shall be bonded by a
public employees' blanket honesty bond in amounts
which may, from time to time, be set by the City
Council.
.040 Nothing contained in this
Section shall prohibit the City Council from requir-
ing such other additional bonds for officers and
employees as it shall in its discretion deem neces-
sary or desirable."
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this chap-
ter of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed
all other portions of this chapter independent of the elimination
herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this or-
dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day � November
