AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE
TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS WARNER-
LAMBERT ANNEXATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 1st day of August , 1967, receive a written
petition asking that certain new territory described in said
petition be annexed to the City of Anaheim.
That prior to the circulation or filing of said
petition, notice of intention to annex said territory, contain-
ing the specific boundaries of the territory to be annexed, was
filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission, and said Local
Agency Formation Commission rendered its decision, as provided
in Section 54797 of the Government Code, approving said
annexation.
That said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is
uninhabited territory. That said petition contained a descrip-
tion of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in
this ordinance described.
That the City Council duly assembled at a --
regular meeting of said City Council held on the 15th - day of
August , 1967, did find that said petition at the time
it was filed and received was signed by the owners of not less
than one-fourth of the land in the territory by area and by
assessed value, as shown on the last preceding equalized assess-
ment roll of the County of Orange, State of California, in which
said territory is situated, and that said territory did not form
a part of any municipal corporation, and did find that said ter-
ritory is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited
territory.
That on the 15th day of August , 1967, at
a -- regular meeting of said City Council of the
City of Anaheim, Resolution No. 67R-478 was duly passed and
adopted specifically describing the boundaries of the territory
so proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim and designating
such territory as WARNER-LAMBERT
ANNEXATION and giving notice of such annexation and fixing the
3rd day of October , 1967, at the hour of 1:30
o'clock P.M. at the City Council Chamber in the City Hall in the
City of Anaheim, as the day, hour and place for hearing of written
protests to said annexation and when and where any person owning
real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed
and having objections to the proposed annexation might appear
before the City Council of the City of Anaheim and present written
objections to the annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim, and directing the City Clerk to publish or cause to be

published a copy of said resolution at least twice, but not
oftener than once a week, for two successive weeks prior to
the date of said hearing, in a newspaper of general circula-
tion, published in the City of Anaheim, to wit: The
Anaheim Bulletin of Anaheim, Orange County,
California, and also in a newspaper of general circulation,
published outside of the City of Anaheim, but in the County of
Orange, in which is located the territory hereinafter proposed
to be annexed to the City of Anaheim, to wit:
The Orange Daily News and
directing that said publications be completed at least twenty
'20)days prior to the date of hearing hereinabove mentioned;
and further directing the City Clerk. of the City of Anaheim to
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to each person to whom .land within the territory proposed to be
annexed is assessed in the last equalized County assessment roll
available on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the
address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said City
Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and
the designation of lands in which he has any interest, either
legal or equitable, with said City Clerk; and that in the event
that land within the territory proposed to be annexed to the
City of Anaheim is owned by a county, that the City Clerk shall
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to the Board of Supervisors of such county, and directing that
such notices be given not less than twenty (20) days before the
first public hearing on the proposed annexation-

That on the hour, day and at the place specified in
said Resolution No. 67R-478 , to wit: On the 3rd day of
October , 1967 , at the hour of 1:30 o c of ck P.M.
in the City Council Chamber in the City Hall in—the City of
Anaheim, California, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
meet and assemble to hear and pass on all protests filed or re-
ceived up to the closing of the hearing on said protests. That
the City Council did find that the resolution fixing the time
and place of said hearing was published by the City Clerk as
therein directed, and that written notice of such proposed
annexation was mailed by the City Clerk as directed in said
resolution and as set forth above, and that written protests
were not made by the owner or owners of one-half of the value
of the territory proposed to be annexed according to the last
equalized assessment, roll of the County of Orange, State of
California, nor were protests made by public or private owners
equal to one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be
annexed as determined by the City Council. Said findings were
then duly adopted by Resolution No. 67R-556 on
October 3 , 1967_
SECTION 2.
That the annexation of the territory included within
the boundaries of the WARNER-LAMBERT
ANNEXATION, and more particu-
larly described as follows, to wit:

That parcel of lana located in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line
of the City of Anaheim, as established by the North-
east Annexation No. 3 to the City of Anaheim passed
by Ordinance No. 1542, January 17, 1961, filed with
the Secretary of State July 10, 1964 and recorded
July 17, 1964 in the office of the County Recorder of
Official Records of Orange County, California, said
point of beginning being the Southeast corner of the
land conveyed to George Albertus Collman and Mary F.
Collman, husband and wife, by deed recorded May 22,
1951 in Book 2191, page 307 of Official Records of
Orange County, California, said point of beginning
being distant the following courses and distances from
the centerline intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and
Taylor Street, South 01 27' 00" East 2,238.83 feet,
more or less, South 801 59' 47" East 1057.64 feet,
more or less, South 76' 29' 49" East 52.24 feet, more
or less, as said intersection is shown on a Record of
Survey filed in book 37, page 25 of Recoru of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California; thence
1. South 760 30' East 1,316 feet, more or less, along a
portion of tine said existing City Limit line of the City
of Anazeim to the Southeast corner of that certain par-
cel of land conveyed to F. E. Campbell and Gladys
Campbell, husband and wife, by deed recorded June 27,
1957 in Book 3955, page 279 of Official Records of
Orange County, Cali.fornial- thence
2. IVortii 0' 25' West 2,360 feet, more or less, along a
portion of the said existing City of Anaheim City Limit
line, also being tile East line of the land conveyed to
said F. E. Campbell and wife, and the Northerly prolonga-
tion thereof to an intersection with the Southerly right
of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad
(50 feet wide), as shown on a Record of Survey filed in
Book 37, page 25 of Record of Surveys in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, California;
thence
3. South 780 00' 36" East 2,521 feet, more or less, leaving
the said existing City Limit lines of the City of Anaizeim,
following along the Southerly line of said Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right of way line to an in-
tersection with the Northerly prolongation of the East
line of that certain parcel of land conveyed. to Warner-
Lambert Pharmaceutical Company by deeu recorded June 21,
1965 in Book 7563, page 262 of Official Records; thence
South 01 29' Sts" East 2,536 feet, more or less, along
the said ivortherly prolongation and East line of the land
conveyed to said Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical Company
to the Southeast corner tilereof ; thence
4. North 810 29' 00" West 1,297.95 feet, more or less,
along the Southerly line of the land conveyed to said
Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical Company and the Northwest-
erly prolongation thereof to the Southeast corner of that

certain parcel of land conveyed to Leon F. Boisseranc by
deed recorded March 3, 1939 in Book 982, page 405 of
Official Records of Orange County, California; thence
5. North 816 28' 45" West 1,164.04 feet, more or less,
along the South line of the land conveyed to said
Leon F. Boisseranc and the Northwesterly prolongation
thereof to the Southeast corner of that certain par-
cel of land described in the decree of distribution
to the Heirs of Savina N. Peralta, recorded August 1,
1966 in Book 8006, pages 115, 116 and 117 of Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence
6. South 88® 33' 23" West 72.41 feet, more or less,
along the South line of the last mentioned parcel of
land to an intersection with the Easterly line of that
certain parcel of land described as Parcel. Three in
the deed recorded May 22, 1962 in Book 6116, page 845
of Official Records of. Orange County, California;

7. South V 25' 00" East 230.10 feet, more or less, along
a portion of the East line of the last mentioned parcel
of land to the Southeast corner thereof; thence
8. North 751 21' 00" West 1,252.25 feet, more or less,
along the South Line of the land described in Parcel
Three in the last mentioned deed and the Northwesterly
prolongation thereof to the Southeast corner of that
certain parcel of land described in quitclaim deed re-
corded March 19, 1956 in Book 3441, page 302 of Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence
9. North 75" 14' 4.8" West 1,165.12 feet, more or less,
along the Southerly line of the land described in said
quitclaim deed and the Northwesterly prolongation_ there-
of to the Southwest corner of that certain parcel of
land described in the deed recorded October 5, 1953 in
Book 2587, page 548 of Official Records of Orange
County, California; thence
10. North 01 27' 00" West 439.13 feet, more or less, along
the West line of the last mentioned parcel of land to an
intersection with the Northwesterly prolongation of the
Southerly line of the land conveyed to the aforementioned
George Albertus Collman and wife, by deed recorded May 22,
1951 in Book 2191, page 307 of Official Records of Orange
County, California, said point of intersection also being
in the existing City of Anaheim City Limit line as estab-
lished by the aforementioned Northeast Annexation No. 3;
thence
11. South 80' 59' 47" East 1,05764 feet, more or less, South
76"� 29' 49" East 52.24 feet, more or less, along the said
Northwesterly prolongation and the Southerly line of the
land conveyed to the said George Albertus Collman and
wife, also being a portion of the said existing City Limit
line of the City of Anaheim, to the point of beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of
of California, and is hereby designated as the _
WARNER-LAMBERT ANNEXATION to the City of
Anaheim.

SECTION 3.
That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance and the filing of a certified copy thereof with the
Secretary of State of the State of California, the annexation
of the territory herein described shall be deemed to be and
shall be complete and thenceforth such annexed territory shall
be, to all intents and purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim,
and from and after the effective date of such annexation, all
property therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the
property within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay
its proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and
liability of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or exist-
ing at the time of such annexation pursuant to the written con-
sent of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed
with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of
this ordinance.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Anaheim Bulletin , a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, and thirty (30) days from
and after its final passage it shall be in full force and effect.
