AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
A14ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 878 IN RECLASSI-
FICATION PROCEEDINGS NO. 53-54-9.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
MME
WHEREAS, the City Council did on January 26, 1954
adopt Ordinance No. 878 in Reclassification Proceedings No.
53-54-9 changing the property therein described from the zone
in which it was incorporated to different zones as more particu-
larly set forth in said ordinance, subject to certain conditions
outlined therein; and
WHEREAS, one of the conditions in said ordinance,
subject to which said property was reclassified, provided that
a driveway not less than 16 feet in width be established between
the landscaped area and the balance of said property, with
entrances on South Street and Water Street, and one entrance on
East Street; and
WHEREAS, E. D. Johnson and Company, owner of a portion
of subject property, has requested that an additional access
driveway to East Street be permitted on the property owned by
E. D. Johnson and Company; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did set said request for
public hearing on March 14, 1967, and did hold said hearing after
having given due notice thereof as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find after careful con-
sideration of the evidence and reports offered at said hearing
that said request for an additional access driveway on East Street
should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A1J1AHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 878 in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 53-54-9 be, and the same is hereby amended to provide for an
additional access driveway on East Street on the property presently
owned by E. D. Johnson and Company and more particularly described
as follows:
All of that area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described
as:
Commencing at a point 163 feet north of the inter-
section of South Street and East Street and extending
northerly along the westerly right of way line of
East Street a distance of 240 feet; thence westerly
160 feet; thence southerly 240 feet parallel with
said westerly right of way line of East Street; thence
easterly 160 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
