AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 10.12 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY ArIENDING
SECTION 10.12.020 THEREOF, AND BY
ADDING THERETO SECTION 10.12.025,
RELATED TO THE SANITATION AND SEWERAGE
SYSTEM CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 10, Chapter 10.12, Section 10.12.020, of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 10.12.020 SANITATION AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM --CHARGES
CITY RESIDENTS.
"The City does furnish to the residents thereof services and
facilities in connection with its sanitation and sewerage
system. For such services and facilities, the following
charges are hereby fixed:
(a) For each dwelling unit in a single family dwelling,
duplex, double house or apartment house, the sum of one
dollar and fifty cents per month.
(b) For each rooming house, the sum of one dollar and
fifty cents per month, plus twenty-five cents per month for
each rental room.
(c) For each trailer camp or trailer park, the sum of
one dollar and fifty cents per month for each trailer space.
(d) For each school, the sum of fifty cents per month
for each water closet therein and/or connected therewith,
provided, however, that during summer vacation months, no
charge will be made.
(e) For any premises used for a single family dwelling
or in any duplex, double house, or apartment house to which
a sewer main is not available, the sum of one dollar and
twenty-five cents per month for each dwelling unit."
SECTION 2.
That Title 10, Chapter 10.12 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
Section 10.12.025 reading as follows:
"SECTION 10.12.025 SANITATION AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM --
CHARGES --CITY COP11ERCIAL ENTERPRISES.
"The City does furnish to the commercial, business and
manufacturing community thereof services and facilities
in connection with its sanitation and sewerage system.
Such charges for commercial enterprises shall not include
charges for trash and rubbish pickup. For such services
and facilities, the following charges are hereby fixed:
(a) For each motel, hotel or auto court, the sum
of fifty cents per month, plus the sum of twenty-five
cents per month for each rental dwelling unit.
(b) For each club house equipped with sanitary
plumbing facilities, the sum of fifty cents per month
for one water closet, and twenty-five cents per month
for each water closet in excess of one; provided further,
that should any club house rent rooms to others for
lodging purposes, there shall be charged an additional
sum of twenty-five cents per month for each rental room.
(c) For each business, commercial, transportation,
professional office, amusement, manufacturing or process-
ing establishment equipped with sanitary plumbing facili-
ties, the sum of fifty cents per month for one water
closet and the sum of twenty-five cents per month for
each water closet in excess of one."
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of November , 1968.
