AN ORDINMICE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE
TERRITORY KNM,,'N AND DESIGNATED AS BALL-WINSTON
ANNEXATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Anaheim did on the 6th day of
March , 19 68 , receive a written application signed by all
of the owners o? land within the territory proposed to be annexed
to the City of Anaheim. That said territory proposed to be
annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, and is contiguous to the City of
Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said application
signed by all of the owners of land within the territory pro-
posed to be annexed contained a description of said territory
in words and figures as hereinafter in this ordinance described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the 10th day of April , 19 68 , the Local
Agency Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution No. 68-46
in which said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex
said territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code and further approved such annexation of said territory
without notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further, by
resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City
Council and without the requirement that an election be held by
the City on the question of said annexation.
SECTION 2.
That the annexation of the territory included within
the boundaries of the herein described
BALL-WINSTON ANNEY,ATION, and more particu-
arly described as follows, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described al follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line of
the City of Anaheim, as established by the Southeast Annexa-
tion No. 2 to the City i Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No.
1402, October 13, 1959, filed with the Secretary of State
November 13, 1959 and recorded November 19, 1959, said
point of beginning being the Southwest corner of the South-
east quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., said Southwest
corner, for the purpose of this description, being distant
South 890 55' 36" East 1,320 feet, more or less, from the
centerline intersection of Ball Road and gate College
Boulevard, formerly known as Placentia Avenue; thence
North 00 13' 40" West 30 feet, more or less, along a
portion of the said existing City of Anaheim City Limit
line, being a portion of the Westerly line of the South-
east quarter of the Southwst quarter of said Section 13,
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 30 feet
Northerly, as measured at right angles from the centerline
of said Ball Road; thence
South 890 55' 36" East 330 feet, more or less, along
the last mentioned parallel line, leaving the said existing
City of Anaheim City Limit line, to an intersection with
the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of the West
half of the West half of the Northeast quarter of the North-
west quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M.; thence
South 00 13' 40" East 1371.50 feet, more or less, along
said Northerly prolongation and said Easterly line and the
Southerly prolongation thereof to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 20 feet Southerly, as measured at
right angles from the centerline of Winston Road; thence
North 890 55' 36" West 330 feet, more or less, along
the last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with
the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of the West
half of the West half of the Northeast quarter of the North-
west quarter of said Section 24, said point of intersection

being a point in the existing City Limit line of the City
of Anaheim, as established by the Southeast Annexation to
the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1104 November
27, 1956, filed with the Secretary of State December 31,
1956 and recorded January 8, 1957; thence
North 00 13' 40" West 1341.56 feet, more or less,
along the last mentioned prolongation and said Westerly
line of the West half of the West half of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 24, also
being a portion of the last mentioned existing City Limit
line of the City of Anaheim, to the point of beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is hereby designated as the
BALL-WINSTON ANNEXATION to the City of
Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the Government Code and with-
out notice and hearing by the City Council and without the require-
ment that the City hold an election on the question of annexation,
all in accordance with the approval of the Local Agency Formation
Commission.'
SECTION 3.
That from and after the effective date of this ordinance
and the filing of a certified copy thereof with the Secretary of
State of the State of California, the _annexation of the territory
herein described shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and
thenceforth such annexed territory shall be, to all intents and
purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and after the
effective date of such annexation, all property therein shall be
subject to taxation equally with the property within the City of
Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share of
the existing indebtedness and liability of said City'of Anaheim
contracted prior to or existing at the time of such annexation
pursuant to the written consent of the owners of property in said
annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim
prior to the adoption of this ordinance.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall be in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
