AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution in each
of the hereinafter numbered reclassifications, recommending
amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and changes
in the boundaries of the zones hereinafter mentioned and de-
scribed, after having held public hearings thereon in the manner
and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
to consider such proposed changes of zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend changes of
zones as set forth in said resolutions; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolutions, reports of
findings, summaries of evidence and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 21st day of
June, 1966, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for public hearings
upon said proposed amendments to Title 18 of the Anaheim Munici-
pal Code and changes of zones, and did give notice thereof in
the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearings, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ings and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt a resolution in each reclassification proceeding,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code should be amended and that changes in the boundaries of said
zones should be made as set forth in said resolutions.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such changes as follows:
That all of the property and area situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particu-
larly hereinafter described under separate reclassification
numbers, be changed from the zones in which it is now incorpo-
rated to the zone indicated for the specific area under each
reclassification. Said property is described and designated
as follows:

RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-107
That portion of Lot 14 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per
survey by William Hamel, a copy of which is filed in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County in Book 3,
pages 163 et seq. entitled "Los Angeles County Maps"
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 14, as shown
on a Map of Tract 1697, recorded in Book 59, pages 43, 44
and 45 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence South 74° 32' 09" West 135.00 feet along the North
line of said Lot 14; thence Southeasterly at right angles
to said North line to a line parallel with the North line
of said Lot 14 and 130.00 feet Southerly, measured along
the said Easterly line of said Lot 14; thence Northeasterly
along said parallel line to the Easterly line of said Lot
14; thence North 00 10' 27" East 130.00 feet along said
Easterly line to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within the right of
way of State College Boulevard and Santa Ana Street,
including the corner return as described in the deed to
City of Anaheim recorded April 13, 1962 in Book 6075, page
303 of Official Records of Orange County, California.
now is C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to
and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-109
The Southerly 135 feet of the Easterly 135.00 feet, measured
along the Easterly and Southerly lines, respectively, of
Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey
made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, pages 163 et seq. entitled "Los Angeles County
Maps" in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within State College
Boulevard, 53 feet as measured from the center line, and
that portion lying within Vermont Avenue, 33 feet measured
from the center line.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-110
Lot One (1) of Tract 3288, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 104, pages 14 and 15 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
now is C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to
and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-111
Lots Two (2) and Three (3) of Block C of Lorelei Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 29, page 24 of Miscellane-
ous Records in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California.

now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
RECLASSIFICATION NO. 65-66-113
The North 135 feet of the South 175 feet of the West 227
feet of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 51, page 7 et seq. of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 92.00 feet as conveyed
to the State of California by deed recorded June 26, 1951
in Book 2205, page 512 of Official Records.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the triangular corner cut off
described in the deed to the City of Anaheim recorded
July 25, 1960 in Book 5344, page 60 of Official Records
of Orange County.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE.
SECTION 2:
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of July , 1966.
