AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263 --
Series 1�61-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-69(13)__ ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of tETWa e m n c pal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resoluticn, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 27th day of
March , 19 62 , as the time, and the Counc amber in
the City Hall of tFe City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No (a) 62R- ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim n c pa
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 62R-
, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the property
hereinafter described and as provided in Resolution No. 62R-335•
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The South half of Lot 1 in Block 6 of the Golden State Tract,
as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPT that portion of said land, as granted to the Orange
County Flood Control District, by deed recorded September 12,
1960, in Book 5411, page 287, Official Records, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the conditions
hereinafter set forth:
That all of the above described property shall be changed to
and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, with the excep-
tion of those areas lying immediately along and parallel to any
arterial streets and highways as designated on the adopted
Circulation Element of the General Plan, which areas shall be
changed to P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE, for a depth of 50 feet
from the property line after any necessary dedication.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following
conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading
and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall
be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accord-
ance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office
of the City Engineer at the time the property is developed.
2. That the owners of the property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street
lighting purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the property
is developed.
3. That all plans for development of the property
shall be submitted to and approved by the Architectural Control
Committee on the basis of compatibility of development, both
structurally and architecturally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is
hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to
the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fif-
teen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated
in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage
it shall take effect and be in full force.
