AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1922
Series 1965-66 in Reclassification No. 65-66-80 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Mun c pa
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 1st day of
March , 19 66 as the time, and the Counc ff- amber in
the City Hall of the -City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and said change or changes of zone or zones, and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 66R-171 ,
finding and determining that Title 18 of the Ana e m Municipal
Code should be amended and that a change or changes in the
boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in
said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s)
66R-171 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
The North 165 feet of the South 176 feet of the West 125
feet of Lot 5 of Weight, Freeman, McCloughan Subdivision,
in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 1, page 2, Record of Survey, in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING the North 55 feet thereof.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the following condition:
That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of
Anaheim the sum of $25 per dwelling unit, for new units
only, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is
hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be
excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and in-
corporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above
set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby
adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a
sectional zoning map to be added to the City. Zoning Map show-
ing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once
within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, pub-
lished and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from
and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in
full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of March , 1966.

same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 22nd day of March, 1966, by the
following vote of the members thereof:

ABSENTS COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2264 on the 22nd
day of March, 1966.
