AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1411 IN RE-
CLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO. 58-59-68.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did on November 10, 1959
adopt Ordinance No. 1411 in Reclassification Proceedings No.
58-59-68 changing the property therein described from R-1,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE to C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL
ZONE, subject to certain conditions set forth in said ordinance;
and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 1 of Ordinance No. 1411 reads
as follows:
"I. That the residential appearance of the buildings
shall be maintained."
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said
Condition No. 1 should be deleted as it pertains to Lots 48 and
49 only of subject property, and that the deed restrictions
which have been placed of record on said lots should be amended
accordingly; provided, however, that plans for the development
of Lot 49, indicating the nature and extent of the remodeling
or construction, be submitted to the City Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 1411 in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 58-59-68 be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
(a) That Condition No. 1 of said ordinance is hereby
deleted as to Lots 48 and 49 only of subject prop-
erty, and that the deed restrictions heretofore
placed of record on said Lots 48 and 49 may be
amended accordingly.
(b) That the above-mentioned amendments be, and the
same are subject, however, to the submission of
plans for the development of Lot 49, indicating
the nature and extent of the remodeling or con-
struction, to the City Council for approval.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby
authorized to sign a consent to the amendment of the deed re-
strictions hereinbefore referred to in the manner indicated, for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certifyy
ordinance and shall cause the same to be
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in
to the passage of this
printed once within
the Anaheim Bulletin,

a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
