AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution(s)
No(s). 68R-763 determining that a change
or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of the East half of the Northeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said county, lying Northerly of the North
line of the land described in the deed to the State
of California, recorded November 26, 1963 in Book
6817, Page 876 of Official Records.
EXCEPT that portion thereof described in the deed
to Humble Oil and Refining Company recorded January
28, 1964 in Book 6899, Page 798 of Official Records.
ALSO EXCEPT the East 30.00 feet of that portion thereof
included within the Southeast quarter of said North-
east quarter of the Southeast quarter.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and in-
corporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:

1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public
Works and Superintendent of Streets.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department.
3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the west, north and south property lines.
4. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view, and the sound buffered from adjacent residential
homes.
5. That the parking areas shall be lighted with down -
lighting of a maximum height of six (6) feet, and said lighting
shall be directed away from the property lines to protect the
residential integrity of the area.
6. That the alignment of the parcel boundary adjacent
to the freeway right -of -'way shall be approved by the State of
California, Division of Highways.
7. That drainage shall be discharged in a manner satis-
factory to the City Engineer.
8. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per apartment unit, to be
used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued; PROVIDED, HOWEVER,
that in the event said amount shall not have been paid by
May 1, 1969, there shall be due and payable the sum of $75.00
per apartment unit.
9. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, above-
mentioned shall be complied with prior to final building and
zoning inspections.
SECTION_ 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) Days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Pebley
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2670 on the 29th day of April,
1969.
