AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A4AIlEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 70R-321_ determining that a change
or changes in the zone or zones- ereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
All that certain land situated in the State of California,
County of Orange, described as follows:
That portion of the West half of the Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying
Southerly of the Southerly line of Tract No. 6531 as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 242, pages 10 and 11 of said Mis-
cellaneous Maps.
now is R -A, Agricultural Zone, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in R-3, Multiple -Family Residential Zone, upon the
following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans on file with the office of the
Director of Public Works.

2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department.
3. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view.
4. That subject property shall be served by underground
facilities.
5. That drainage of subject property shall be disposed of
in a manner that is satisfactory to the City Engineer.
6. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $75.00 per multiple -family
unit to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit is
issued.
7. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the north property line where carport walls are not
developed.
8. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 39 4, 50 6, and 7, above
mentioned, shall be. complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2..
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is
hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to
the city Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of November 1970.

at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held
on the 10th day of November, 1970, and that the same was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 17th
day of November, 1970, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Clark, Stephenson, Thom and Pebley
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Dutton
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor Pro -Tem of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2871 on the 17th day
of November, 1970.
