AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A4AHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THAT: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A14AHLIM DOES FIND
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. -124 determining that a change
or changes nges in the zone or zones=ereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
All these certain parcels of land in the County of
Orange, State of California, as shown as "Emma Bayha
Morlock" 8.336 acres and "Ida Maussnest" 7.938 acres
on a map filed in Boo!" 7, page 12 of Records of Surveys,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said county.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the northerly 524.00 feet.
now is County A-1, General Agricultural District, and that it be
changed, to and incorporated in R-3, Multiple -Family Residential
Zone, subject to the following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the office of
the Director of Public Works.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department.

3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the north property line.
4. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
5. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view.
6. That any parking area lighting proposed adjacent to
the single family residential subdivision shall be
down -lighting of a maximum height of 6 feet, which
lighting shall be directed away from the property
lines to protect the residential integrity of the area.
7. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the appropriate park and recreation
in -lieu fees as determined to be appropriate by the
City Council, said fees to be paid at the time the
building permit is issued.
8. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, above men-
tioned, shall be complied with prior to final building
and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning slap as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (3�) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 2856 was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held
on the 8th day of September, 1970, and reintroduced as corrected at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on
the 2nd day of February, 1971, and that the same was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
9th day of February, 1971, by the following vote of the members
thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Roth, Stephenson, Pebley, Thom and Dutton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2856 on the 9th day of
February, 1971.
