AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A14AHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THAT: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FI14D
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 7DR_227 determining that a change
or changes in the zone or zones-Rereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
A parcel of land situated in the State of California,
County of Orange, City of Anaheim, being a portion of
the North half of the northwest quarter of the south-
west quarter of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, San Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of said
southwest quarter of Section 8, said point bearing
South 890 43' 22" East 360.02 feet from the northwest
corner of said southwest quarter; thence, along said
northerly line South 89° 43' 22" East 970.56 feet to
the northeast corner of said northwest quarter of said
southwest quarter; thence, South 00° 09, 09" West
656.51 feet along the easterly line of said northwest
quarter to the northerly line of Tract No. 5053 as
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 183, pages 34
through 38, records of Orange County; thence, North
89° 40' 09" West 969.23 feet along said northerly line
of Tract No. 5053 to a point lying on a line 360.00 feet
easterly, measured at right angles, from the westerly
line of said southwest quarter; thence, parallel to said
westerly line of said southwest quarter of Section 8,
North 000 16' 10" West 655.62 feet to the point of
beginning.

now is R -A, Agricultural Zone, and that it be changed to
and incorporated in R-3, Multiple -Family Residential Zone,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the north side of Alameda Avenue shall be
developed with 30 foot right-of-way and full side-
walk and planted tree wells similar to the south
side of the street.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file with the
office of the Director of Public Works.
3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the
Fire Department.
4. That a parcel map to record the approved division of
the subject property be submitted to and approved by
the City of Anaheim and then be recorded in the office
of the Orange County Recorder.
5. That Conditions Nos. 1 and 2, above mentioned, shall
be completed for both subject parcel and the remain-
ing parcel prior to approval of the parcel map.
6. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view.
7. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
8. That a predetermined price for the westerly one foot
of subject property shall be calculated and an offer
of dedication of the westerly one foot shall be made
by the developer and submitted to and approved by the
City of Anaheim prior to approval of the final parcel
map, said offer of dedication to be recorded concur-
rently with final parcel map. The cost of the westerly
one foot shall include land and a proportionate share
of the underground utilities and street improvements.
9. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $75.00 per multiple -family
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building permit
is issued.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within

fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 30th
day of June, 1970, by the following vote of the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2827 on the 30th day of
June, 1970.
