AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM M-IEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A 4AIIEIM DOES FI14D
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 69-3 determining that a change
or changesin e zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows:
Lot 85 and the Westerly 14.00 feet of Lot 84
of Tract No. 1843, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 53, pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE and that it be changed to
and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE upon the following
conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required
and determined to be necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department.
3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the east property line.

4. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed
shall be properly shielded from view, and the
sound shall be buffered from adjacent residential
homes.
5. That any parking area lighting shall be lighted
with down -lighting of a maximum height of six
(6) feet, which lighting shall be directed away
from the property lines to protect the residential
integrity of the area.
6. That Conditions Nos. 1. 2, 3, 4, and 5, above-
mentioned shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of May , 19 70 .

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 26th
day of May, 1970, by the following vote of the members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2816 on the 26th day of May,
1970.
