AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A14AHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 69R-558 determining that a change
or changes in a zone or zones-iereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of the
City of Anaheim, established as the Northeast corner of the
Warner-Lambert Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by
Ordinance No. 2427, October 3, 1967, filed with the Secretary
of State November 9, 1967, and recorded November 14, 1967 in -
Official Records of Orange County, California, said North-
east corner and point of beginning being distant from the
centerline intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Orchard
Way (formerly known as Orchard Drive) the following courses
and distances: South 3° 26' 00" West 75.84 feet, North 780
001 36" West 20.22 feet, said centerline intersection is
shown on a Map of Tract No. 4181, recorded in Book 156,
pages 21, 22 and 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California thence
North 7810 00' 36" West 1,278.45 feet, following along the
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, said City
limit line being a portion of the Southerly right of way
line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, as said

right of way line is shown on a Record of Survey Map filed
in Book 37, page 25 of Record of Surveys in the office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California, to an
intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the Easterly
line of Tract No. 4926, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
179, pages 13 and 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim
and following along said Southerly prolongation and the
Easterly line of said Tract No. 4926, North 40 03' 30" East
1,147.34 feet, to the Northeast corner of said Tract, said
Northeast corner of Tract No. 4926 also being a point in
the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as
established by the Orchard Drive Annexation to the City of
Anaheim passed by Ordinance No. 2595, November 6, 1968, filed
with the Secretary of State December 9, 1968 and recorded
December 11, 1968, in Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence
Following along a portion of the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim, as established by said Orchard Drive
Annexation the following courses and distances: South 810
23' 30" East 594.50 feet, South 770 30' 00" East 20.00 feet,
North 110 55' 00" East 20.00 feet to the Southwest corner of
the Esperanza High School Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
passed by Orange County Board of Supervisors by Resolution
No. 67-372 April 12, 1967, filed with the Secretary of State
May 5, 1967, said Southwest corner being distant from the
centerline intersection of Orchard Drive with the East West
Orchard Drive, now known as Woodwind Lane, as said inter-
section is shown on a Map of Survey filed in Book 7, page 12
of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California, the following courses and dis-
tances: South 77° 30' 00" East 20.00 feet, North 110 55' 00"
East 20.00 feet; thence
South 77° 30' 00" East 244 feet, more or less, leaving the
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim as established
by said Orchard Drive Annexation, and following a portion of
the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, being
the Southerly line of the aforementioned Esperanza High
School Annexation to the City of Anaheim, to the Southeast
corner thereof, the Southeast corner of said Esperanza High
School annexation being a point in the existing City limit
line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the Yorba
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No.
1777, November 13, 1962, filed with the Secretary of State
August 10, 1964 and recorded August 13, 1964 in Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim,
as established by said Esperanza High School Annexation and
following along a portion of the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim, as established by the said Yorba Annexa-
tion the following courses and distances: South 790 37' 00"
East 310.00 feet, more or less, South 30 26' 10" West 20.00
feet, more or less, South 830 11' 38" East 20.00 feet, more
or less, to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of Tract No. 4181,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 156, pages 21, 22 and 23
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
said Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Tract 4181 being a

point in a line parallel with and 40 feet Easterly of the
centerline of Orchard Way, formerly known as Orchard Drive,
as said centerline is shown on the Map of said Tract No. 4181;
thence
South 30 26' 00" West 1,030 t feet along a portion of the
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, established
by said Yorba Annexation, being the last mentioned parallel
line, also being the Westerly line of said Lot 1 and the
Southerly prolongation thereof, and the Westerly line of Lots
80 through 89, and Westerly line of Lot 130 of said Tract No.
4181, to a point, said point being the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 27 feet,
as shown on the Map of said Tract 4181; thence
South 3° 26' 00" West 170 t feet, leaving the last mentioned
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, following
along the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Lot
130 of said Tract No. 4181, to an intersection with the
Southerly right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe Railway, as said right of way line is shown on a Map of
Survey filed in Book 6, page 23 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California;
thence
North 78° 00' 361' West 60.67 feet along the Southerly right
of way line of said Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway to
the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying Southerly of
the centerline of Orangethorpe Avenue, also EXCEPTING THEREFROM
any portion thereof lying Easterly of the centerline of
Orchard Drive (now known as Post Lane, ALSO EXCEPTING THERE-
FROM any portion thereof lying Northerly of the centerline
of Orchard Drive (now known as Woodwind Lane),
now is COUNTY A-1, GENERAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, subject
to the completion of Annexation Proceedings.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
y- fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
