CORONADO ANNEXATION.

SECTIO) 1.
That thu City Council of the City of Anaheim dict on
the 31st uay of December , 19 69 , receive a written
petition as};ing that certain new territory described in saiu

That tiie City Council duly assembled at a
regular meeting of said City Council held on the lith uay of
Januar , 19�_, did find that said petition at the ti: -ie
it was fi ed and receiveu was signed by the owners of not less
tiaii one-fourtii of the land in the territory by area and by
assessed value, as shown oil tiie last preceding etlualise.i assess-

said territory is situated, and that said territory did not fora
a part of any municipal corporation, and dict find that saici ter-
ritory is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited
territory.
That on the 13th day of January , 19 70 , at
a ----- regular meeting of said City Council of the
City of Anaheim, Resolution No. 70R-28 was duly passtz:d and
auopted specifically descriuing tiie boundaries of tiie territory
so proposeu to be annexed to the City of Anaheim and designating
such territory as MIRALOMA-CORONADO
ANNEXATION and giving notice of such annexation and fixing the
10th day of March , 1970 , at the hour of 1:30
o'clock P.M. at the City Council Chamber in the City hall in the
City of Anaheim, as the day, hour and place for hearing of written
protests to said annexation and when and where any person owning
real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed
and 'having objections to the proposed annexation might appear
before the City Council of the City of Anaheim and present written
objections to the annexation of said territory to the City of
Anaheim, and directing the City Clerk to publish or cause to be

published a copy of said resolution at least twice, but not
oftener than once a week, for two successive weeks prior to
the date of said hearing, in a newspaper of general circula-
tion, published in the City of Anaheim, to wit: The Anaheim
_ Bulletin of Anaheim, Orange County,
California, and also in a newspaper of general circulation,
published outside of the City of Anaheim, but in the County of
Orange, in which is located the territory hereinafter proposed
to be annexed to the City of Anaheim, to wit: The Placentia
Ccmr'i er and
directing that said publications be completed at least twenty
(20) days prior to the date of hearing hereinabove mentioned;
and further directing the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim to
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to each person to whom -land -within the territory proposed to be
annexed is assessed in the last equalizes: County assessment roll
available on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the
address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said City
Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and
the designation of lands in which he has any interest, either
legal or equitable, with said City Clerk; and that in the event
that land within tae territory proposed to be annexed to the
City of Anaheim is owned by a county, that the City Clerk shall
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to the Board of Supervisors of such county, and directing that
such notices be given not less than twenty (20) days before the
first public hearing on the proposed annexation.
That on the hour, day and at the place specified in
said Resolution No. 70R-28 , to wit: On the 10th day of
March , 19 70 , at the hour of 1:30 o'clock P.M.
in the City Council Chamber in the City IIall in the City of
Anaheim, California, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
meet and assemble to hear and pass on all protests filed or re-
ceived up to the closing of the hearing on said protests. That
the City Council did find that the resolution fixing the time
and place of said hearing was published by the City Clerk as
therein directed, and tiiat written notice of such proposed
annexation was mailed by the City Clerk as directed in said
resolution and as set forth above, and that written protests
were not made by the owner or owners of one-half of the value
of the territory proposed to be annexed according to the last
equaliz.Qd assessment roll of ti -le County of Orange, State of
California, nor were protests made by public or private owners
equal to one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be
annexed as determined by the City Council. Said findings were
then duly adopted by Resolution No. 70R-127 on
March 10 , 19_7.
SECTION 2.
That the annexation of the territory included within
the boundaries of the MIRALOMA-C,ORONAnO
ANNEXATION, and more particu-
larly described as follows, to wit:

TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim, as established by the Blue Gum - Coronado
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 2309,
filed with the Secretary of State August 15, 1966, said point
also being a point in the existing City limit line of the City
of Anaheim, as established by the La Palma - Miraloma Annexation,
passed by Ordinance No. 2580, filed with the Secretary of State
November 8, 1968, said point being distant from the centerline
intersection of Blue Gum Street and Coronado Street, North 730
43' 00" East 216.00 feet, North 160 18' 52" West 32 feet, said
point of beginning being a point in the West line of the East
48 feet of Lot 100 of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line as established by
said La Palma - Miraloma Annexation, and following along a portion
of the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as
established by said Blue Gum - Coronado Annexa -tion, North 160
18' 52" West 298 feet, more or less, along a portion of the
West line of the East 48 feet of Lot 100 of said Eucalyptus
Forest Tract, to an intersection with the South line of Lot
53 of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence
North 730 43' 00" East 48 feet along a portion of the South
line of said Lot 53 to the Southeast corner thereof; thence
North 160 18' 52" West 310 feet, more or less, along the
East line of said Lot 53 to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 20 feet Southerly, as measured at right angles from
the centerline of Orange Street (40 feet wide), as shown on
the Map of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence

South 730 43' 00" West 244 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 20 feet Easterly as measured at right angles
from the centerline of Blue Gum Street, as shown on the Map
of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence
North 160 18' 52" West 660 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 20 feet Southerly, as measured at right angles
from the centerline of Miraloma Avenue (formerly known as Anaheim
Road) said point of intersection being in the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the Northeast
Annexation No. 2-A to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance
No. 1269, August 120 1958, filed with the Secretary of State
September 12, 1958, and recorded September 17, 1958, in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California;

Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim.
as established by said Blue Gum - Coronado Annexation and following
along a portion of the existing City of Anaheim City limit line
as established by the last mentioned Northeast Annexation No.
2-A, being the last mentioned parallel line, North 730 43' 00"
East 1036 feet i to an intersection with the Easterly line of
Lot 13 of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; thence
Leaving the last mentioned existing City of Anaheim City
limit line and following along the Easterly line of said Lot
13, South 160 18' 52" East 310 feet to the Southeast corner
of said lot; thence
South 730 43' 00" West 264 feet following along the Southerly
line of said Lot 13 and the Westerly prolongation thereof to
the Northeast corner of Lot 34 of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract;

of the centerline of Orange Street, as said Orange Street is
shown on the Map of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence
South 730 43' 00" West 396 feet, following along the last
mentioned parallel line to an intersection with the West line
of Lot 55 of said Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence
South 160 18' 52" East 310 feet along the Westerly line
of said Lot 55 to the Southwest corner thereof; thence
North 73° 43' 00" East 72 feet along a portion of the Southerly
line of said Lot 55 to an intersection with the East line of
the Westerly 72 feet of Lot 98 of the aforementioned Eucalyptus
Forest Tract; thence

passed by Ordinance No. 2530, filed with the Secretary of State
November 8, 1968; thence
Following along a portion of t::e last mentioned existing
City limit line of the City of Anaheim,, being a portion of the
last mentioned parallel line South 73° 43' 00" West 252 Leet
to an intersection with the Westerly line of the Easte_ly 48
feet of Lot 100 of said Eucalyptus Poxest Tract; thence
Continuing along a portion of tho las►. mentioned City limit
line, being a portion of the gest line: of the Last 48 feet of
said Lot 100, North 160 18' 52" West 12 feet to the point of
beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is hereby designated as the MIRALOMA-
CORONADO ANNEXATION to the City of
Anaheim.
SECTION 3.
That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance and the filing of a certified copy thereof with the
Secretary of State of the State of California, the annexation
of the territory herein described shall be deemed to be and
shall be complete and thenceforth such annexed territory shall
be, to all intents and purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim,
and from and after the effective date of such annexation, all
property therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the
property within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay
its proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and
liability of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or exist-
ing at the time of such annexation pursuant to the written con-
sent of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed
with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of
this ordinance.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the
Anaheim Bulletin , a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, and thirty (30) days from
and after its final passage it shall be in full force and effect.
THE .FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
