ORDINANCE NO. 2966
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
Nos. 62R-335 and 66R-634 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Parcel 1:
Lot 7 in Block 8 of the Golden State Tract, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map thereof recorded in book 4, pages 66 and 67 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County.
EXCEPT THEREFROM that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Anaheim-Miraloma Road, 40.00 feet wide, as shown on said
map, with the center line of Blue Gum Street, 40.00 feet
wide, shown as an unnamed street adjoining said Block 8
on the East on said map; thence along said center line of
Blue Gum Street, North 150 58' 16" West, 85.00 feet; thence
South 740 01' 44" West, 30.00 feet; thence South 210 09'
44" West, 43.92 feet; thence South 770 00' 23" West, 604.40
feet to the Westerly line of said Lot 7; thence along said
Westerly line, and the Southerly prolongation thereof,
South 150 58' 21" East 81.57 feet to said center line of
Anaheim Road; thence along said center line of Anaheim Road,
North 740 00' 46" East, 660.10 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions thereof included within
said Anaheim Road and said Blue Gum Street.

ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM all oil, oil rights, minerals, mineral
rights natural gas, natural gas rights, and other hydro-
carbons by whatsoever name known: that may be below the
upper 100 feet of the subsurface of the parcel of land here-.
inabove described together with the perpetual right of
drilling, mining, exploring and operating therefor and
removing the same from said land or any other land, includ-
ing the right to whipstock or directionally drill and mine
from lands other than those hereinabove described, oil or
gas wells, tunnels and shafts into, through or across the
subsurface of the land hereinabove described, and to bottom
such whipstocked or directionally drilled wells, tunnels
and shafts under and beneath or beyond the exterior limits
thereof, and to redrill, re -tunnel, equip, maintain, repair,
deepen and operate any such wells or mines, without, how-
ever, the right to drill, mine, explore and operate through
the surface or said upper 100 feet of the subsurface of the
land hereinabove described or otherwise in such manner as
to endanger thesafety of any highway that may be construc-
ted on said lands.
Parcel 2:
That portion of Lot 8 in Block 8 of the Golden State Tract,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, as shownon a map recordedin book 4, pages '66 and
67 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the. County
Recorder of said County, acquired by the State of California
by deed recorded in book 5357, page 581, Official Records,
in said office, bounded Southerly by Parcel 4 of that
certain proposed State Highway Relinquishment No. 663, as
shown on map recorded in State Highway Map Book No. 6,
page 37 in said office, and bounded Westerly by the follow-
ing described line:
Beginning at the Southerly terminus of that certain arc
length in the .description of the land acquired by the State
of California by deed recorded in book 7359, page 95 of
said Official Records, described thereon as having a radius
of 5,130.00 feet; thence South 050 12' 36" East, 579.25
feet to the Westerly terminus of that certain course shown
on said map of above mentioned Parcel 4 as having a bearing
and distance of South 770 00' 23" West, 177.79 feet..
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in M-1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, upon the fol
lowing conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
appurtenant work shall be complied with as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of
the City Engineer at the time the property is developed.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for
street lighting purposes, said amount to be paid at
the time the property is developed.
3. That all plans for development

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the. City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City. Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is.Approved and signed by me
