AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution No.
73R-245 determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described should be made as hereinafter
set forth after a duly noticed hearing; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
COMMENCING AT A BOLT MARKING THE POINT OF INTERSECTION
OF A CURVE OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE SANTA ANA CANYON
ROAD, AS DESCRIBED IN DEED RECORDED IN BOOK 171, PAGE
144 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY, SAID BOLT
BEING LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 121.00 FEET EAST OF THE
INTERSECTION OF SAID CENTERLINE BY THE WEST LINE OF THE
JUAN YORBA ALLOTTMENT; THENCE NORTH 60 degrees 22' 55"
EAST 306.34 FEET ALONG THE TANGENT OF SAID CURVE AND THE
CENTERLINE OF SAID HIGHWAY TO THE NORTHWESTERLY
PROLONGATION OF THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF THE LAND
CONVEYED TO ROLAND E. NESMITH AND WIFE, RECORDED
FEBRUARY 3, 1953, IN BOOK 2446, PAGE 151 OF OFFICIAL
RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY ALSO BEING THE TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 60 degrees 22' 55" EAST,
ALONG SAID CENTERLINE 249.22 FEET TO THE MOST NORTHERLY
CORNER OF THE LAND CONVEYED TO KARL AHRENS AND WIFE, BY
DEED RECORDED JANUARY 17, 1948 IN BOOK 1610, PAGE 545 OF
OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY; THENCE SOUTH 29
degrees 13' 15" EAST ALONG THE NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF
SAID, 629.26 FEET TO A POINT IN THE NORTH LINE OF THAT
CERTAIN 50.00 FOOT STRIP OF LAND DEEDED TO THE SANTA ANA

VALLEY IRRIGATION COMPANY BY DEED RECORDED OCTOBER 9,
1947 IN BOOK 1536, PAGE 487 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS, OF SAID
ORANGE COUNTY; THENCE NORTH 78 degrees 20' 35" WEST
ALONG SAID NORTH LINE TO AN INTERSECTION WITH A LINE
WHICH BEARS SOUTH 29 degrees 13' 15" EAST AND PARALLEL
WITH SAID NORTHEASTERLY LINE OF THE LAND CONVEYED TO
AHRENS, FROM THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH
29 degrees 13' 15" WEST, ALONG SAID PARALLEL LINE 411.74
FEET TO SAID TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PORTION THEREOF INCLUDED WITHIN
THE LAND DESCRIBED IN THE DEED TO THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA RECORDED JUNE 29, 1948, IN BOOK 1661, PAGE
227 AND RE-RECORDED JULY 30, 1948 IN BOOK 1678, PAGE 214
BOTH OF OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY
into the ""RS-7200(SC)" RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE FAMILY SCENIC CORRIDOR
ZONE, subject to the following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim,
such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving,
drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied
with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with
standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer, at the time the property is developed.
2. That the owners of subject property shall install street
lighting on all streets within the area as required by the Director
of Public Utilities, at the time the property is developed.
3. That drainage of subject property shall be disposed of in
a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer.
4. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the
zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a part
of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map,
as amended, is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby
directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City
Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.

SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in
said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage,
it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 18th day of December
1984
