Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 10:04 a.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular
meetings held January 8 and January 15, 1985. Agency Member Pickler abstained
on the minutes of the meeting held January 15, 1985 since he was not present
at that meeting. Ag~ncy Member Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
$19,696.72, in accordance with the 1984-85 BUdget, were approved.
161/128: FINANCIAL REPORTS DATED DECEMBER 31, 1984: Councilwoman Kaywood
moved to receive and file the Financial reports dated December 31, 1984.
Councilman Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.

161/123: OFFICE BUILDING LEASE WITH URO INVESTMENTS: Authorizing a lease
agreement with URO Investments, for the lease of third floor of the Kraemer
Building, 76 South Claudina Street, for a term of 35 months, at a monthly rate
of $4,330 for the first year; $4,460 for the second year; and $4,594 for the
third year. Submitted was report dated January 21, 1985 from the Executive
Director of Community Development Norm Priest, recommending approval of the
subject lease.
Upon request for square footage cost involved by Agency Member Bay, the matter
was trailed until later in the meeting.
MOTION: After the requested information was received, Agency Member Bay moved
to approve the Office Building Lease for the third floor at 76 So. Claudina
Street. Agency Member Roth seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
RECESS - CLOSED SESSION: Agency Member Roth moved to recess into Closed
Session to confer with the City Attorney relative to pending litigation
pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9A. Agency Member Overholt seconded
the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (10:07 a.m.)

161/112: SETTLEMENT OF ORDER FOR PREJUDGEMENT POSSESSION: Agency Member Roth
move to authorize the law firm of Oliver, Stoever & Laskin to make settlement
of Superior Court Case No. 38-38-06 in the amount of $138,000 plus interest on

the Order for Pre judgement Possession as required by law, and to prepare and
file a Final Order of Condemnation. Agency Member Pickler seconded the
motion. MOTION CARRIED.
161/123/112: SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN SOTEROUPOLOS AND THE ANAHEIM
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY: Agency Member Roth moved to authorize the law firm of
Oliver, Stoever & Laskin to enter into a settlement agreement whereby
plaintiff/defendant Soteroupolos will refund to the Agency the sum of $15,000
in 15 equal monthly installments of $1,000 each, and to obtain appropriate
security through a stipulation filed in court. Agency Member Pickler seconded
the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
