Chairman Bay called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to
order at 1:10 p.m.
MINUTES: Mrs. Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meetings
held March 9, April 20, April 27, and May 18, 1982. Mr. Overholt seconded the
motion. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
218,474.10 for the period ending May 27, 1982, and $155,278.62 for the period
ending June 3, 1982, in accordance with the 1981 -82 Budget, were approved.
161.107: CONTRACT AWARD FOR DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE, A -1 LAND CLEARING
�. COMPANY - CONTRACT NO. D82 -10: Mr. Overholt offered Resolution No. ARA82 -34
for adoption, accepting the low bid of A -1 Land Clearing Company at a cost to
the Agency of $28,300 for demolition and site clearance on properties located
at 136, 150, 204, 214 -228 and 603 East Old Lincoln Avenue, 225 East Broadway
and 500 and 506 East Chartres Street; and in the event low bidder fails to
post required bonds or insurance, accept the second low bid of G. W. Rowe
General Contractor at a cost to the Agency of $28,858; Contract No. D82 -10, as
recommended in memorandum dated June 1, 1982, from the Executive Director of
Community Development, Norman Priest. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. ARA82 -34: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ACCEPTING A SEALED PROPOSAL AND AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE
BIDDER FOR DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE OF CERTAIN AGENCY PROPERTIES. (D82 -10)

161.158: AUTHORIZATION TO PAY RELOCATION COSTS - CASE NO. 260 -TB: Mrs.
Kaywood moved to authorize an additional payment to relocation claim Case No.
260 -TB in the amount of $654.97, for a total amount not to exceed $29,654.97,
as recommended in memorandum dated June 1, 1982, from the Executive Director.
Mr. Roth seconded the motion. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.

161.158: AUTHORIZATION TO PAY RELOCATION COSTS - CASE NO. 633 -TB: Mr.
Overholt moved to authorize payment of a relocation claim in an amount not to
exceed $30,503.09 in Case No. 633 -TB, as recommended in memorandum dated
May 28, 1982, from the Executive Director. Mr. Roth seconded the motion. One
Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
161.123: OWNER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT AND AGREEMENT TO BE RECORDED AFFECTING
REAL PROPERTY - 119 SOUTH MELROSE STREET: Mrs. Kaywood moved to (1) authorize
a Neighborhood Preservation Program Owner Participation Agreement with Melvin,
Elizabeth and Jane Rabow for the rehabilitation of property located at 119
South Melrose Street and (2) authorize an Agreement to be Recorded Affecting
Real Property with Melvin, Elizabeth and Jane Rabow for rehabilitation of
property located at 119 South Melrose Street, as recommended in memorandum
dated June 4, 1982, from the Executive Director. Mr. Roth seconded the
motion. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
161.128: WRITE -OFF OF UNCOLLECTABLE RENT RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTS: Mr. Roth moved
to approve the write -off of uncollectable rent receivable accounts totaling
$42,980.25 for Fiscal Years 1976 -77 through 1980 -81, as recommended in
memorandum dated June 1, 1982, from the Executive Director. Mr. Overholt
seconded the motion. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
161.163: LINCOLN AVENUE RAILROAD GRADE SEPARATION NEGOTIATIONS: On motion by ..Wo
Mr. Roth, seconded by Mrs. Kaywood, the report requested at the meeting of May
25, 1982, by the Chairman, relating to Lincoln Avenue Railroad Grade
Separation negotiations was received and filed. One Vacancy. MOTION CARRIED.
