Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 9:50 a.m.
MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
21,529.78, in accordance with the 1982-83 Budget, were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Kaywood, seconded by
Agency Member Pickler, the following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. Agency Member Kaywood offered
Resolution Nos. ARA83 -21 and ARA83 -22 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
1. 161.123: Authorizing the release of the good faith deposit, a letter of
credit for $20,000, received from Mazza Properties in connection with Parcel
4c bounded by Old Lincoln Avenue, Philadelphia Street, alley south of Old
Lincoln Avenue and Claudina Street.
2. 161.123: Authorizing the First Amendment to an Agreement with The Desmond
Company, Inc., for goodwill loss appraisal services, increasing compensation
from $20,000 to $40,000.
3. 161.107: Authorizing Change Order No. 1 to the contract with R. J. Noble
Company in the amount of $2,404.53 for demolition, site clearance, grading,
construction and installation of utilities service at the northwest corner of
Claudina Street and Old Lincoln Avenue in connection with Contract D82 -11,
bringing the original contract price to $34,592.53.
4. 161.118: Approving the loss of goodwill claim submitted by Dennis Lesenne
in the amount of $26,000 as prior lessee of Shell Oil Company at 441 West
Lincoln Avenue, and authorizing the Executive Director to make said payment.
5. 161.107: Authorizing Change Order No. 1 to the contract with R. J. Noble
Company in the amount of $5,828.80 for site clearance and grading at the
southeast corner of Anaheim Boulevard and Old Lincoln Avenue in connection
with Contract D83 -1, bringing the original contract price to $38,870.80.
