Roberts HOUSING MANAGER: Lisa Stipkovich Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to order at 10:07 a.m. MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held July 12, 1983. Agency Member Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of 28,978.58 and $42,758.36 for Series "C" Bonds, in accordance with the 1983 -84 Budget, were approved. CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Kaywood, seconded by Agency Member Bay, the following actions were authorized in accordance with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda: 1. 161.128: Receiving and filing the Financial Statements dated June 30, 1983. 2. 161.123: Authorizing an agreement amount not to exceed $25,000, to assist of a communications program. with Clay Publicom, Incorporated, in an in the development and implementation MOTION CARRIED. 161.121: CONDEMNATION HEARING To consider acquisition of property owned by Nugent Enterprises, generally bounded by Harbor Boulevard on the west, Broadway on the south, Helena Street on the east, and running approximately 322 feet south of Chestnut Street on the north. Submitted was a report from the Community Development Department recommending that the Agency proceed with the condemnation action. The Chairman asked to hear from anyone who wished to speak, either in favor or in opposition; there was no response, and he closed the hearing. Agency Member Bay offered Resolution No. ARA83 -27 for adoption, finding and determining the public interest and necessity for acquiring and authorizing the condemnation of certain real property within the Redevelopment Project Area and authorizing the law firm of Oliver, Stoever & Laskin to proceed with the condemnation action. ARA83 -27: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FINDING AND DETERMINING THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY FOR ACQUIRING AND AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA.
