A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency was posted at 2:30 p.m. on January 6, 1989 at the Civic Center kiosk,
containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Hunter called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 1:45 p.m.
MINUTES: Agency Member Kaywood moved to approve the minutes of the meetings
held December 6 and December 13, 1988. Agency Member Daly seconded the
motion. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
$167,207.20 for the period ending December 23, 1988; $78,814.61 for the period
ending December 30, 1988 and $556,708.99 for the period ending January 6,
1989, in accordance with the 1988 -89 Budget, were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Agency Member Pickler, seconded by
Agency Member Kaywood, the following actions were authorized in accordance
with the reports and recommendations furnished each Agency Member and as
listed on the Consent Calendar Agenda. Agency Member Pickler offered
Resolution No. ARA88 -25 for adoption. Refer to Resolution Book.
1. 161.118: Denying the claim for appraisal of loss of business goodwill
(Hall of Frames).
2. 161.123: Approving the License Agreement with Union Pacific Land
Resources Corporation for soil testing on property located on the west side of
Atchison Street between the alley south of Old Lincoln and the alley north of
Broadway.
End of Consent Calendar. MOTIONS CARRIED.
REQUEST FOR CLOSED SESSION: To confer with its attorney regarding pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a), to wit:
(a) Anaheim Redevelopment Agency vs. Finishing Touch Paint & Body
Center, Inc., Orange County Superior Court Case No. 49- 57 -81.
City Attorney White announced that since this item was considered at the
12:00 noon Closed Session, a recess was not necessary at this time.
